Some faces from the Weed Smokes Reid Blade Jam last weekend. The vibes were high and Drew Davidson took home some cash. Reid knows how to throw a competition. Can’t wait for the next one.

Design refinement for the TNEC Twin

Orchestra collaborated with @tnecskate to refine their next gen inline skate to allow for better comfort and performance. Working closely with @duranbick and @dylndrsn, we went back and forth creating 3D prints that were then tested thoroughly. The idea wasn’t to be innovative, but to be a refined classic meant to stand the test of time. That led us to add a number of simple features (cuff catch, buckle protection, boot flex cutouts) to ensure a better fit and an overall better performing skate. Very excited to see this skate out in the streets 🤘

Preorder for this skate is open now - check it out at @tnecskate

Introducing the @tnecskate Twin

I met @duranbick in Salt Lake City several years ago, around the time he was testing and iterating H-Blocks he had been 3D printing for TNEC’s frame release. As a shop owner and super talented skater, Duran had a strong signal to was missing from the market. And as a rollerblader myself, these were projects I was eager for, so I joined to help with modeling for production molds on both the frame and the 58s. The 58s reused existing boot molds alongside a newly designed single-piece soul-frame and cuff, which allowed us to get a product to market faster, and gather feedback on fit, functionality, and various areas to improve for a future skate.

The Twin is a result of that feedback plus a clear vision from Duran. UFS, no re-inventing, refinement on details that add up to make a super well-polished aggressive inline skate. @orchestra.studio joined as additional ID bandwidth in the development of the Twin, so shoutout and huge thank you to @jackmarple for picking this up, and I want to emphasize the effort and care Duran put in to get this skate out into reality amidst delays, tariffs, and other roadblocks.

Very proud to play a part in this. A future staple! Go check it out (and the 58) at @tnecskate !
