POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Congratulations to Neil Dalgleish who announced yesterday he is stepping back from running @tourotheborderssportive and will, for the first time, be competing in it next year. 🚴

I had the great fortune to interview Neil two years ago (to the day!) at @durtybrewing I was struck by Neil’s drive and vision to build something from scratch, trusting that it would work even when it got hard. It is so easy to knock things, to discourage - it takes courage and determination to build something new and that’s what Neil did with Touro (and Tweedlove). Alongside that drive and vision were doubt, nerves and the very human qualities of anyone who has created something new. From a personal viewpoint Neil and Sarah actually also gave me my first freelance job in 2023 with ‘Touro Tales’ short videos telling stories along the route, which are still kicking about on the gram. It was a great day!

Touro will go from strength to strength under @durtyevents and I want to wish them well and say well done to Neil. And hopefully more nights like this at the Durty taproom soon!

⛳ HOLE 4 — CLUBHOUSE

📏 Yardages:
⚪ White: 374 Yds
🟡 Yellow: 367 Yds
🔴 Red: 315 Yds

Par 4 | SI 11 (White) / 13 (Red)

Heading back towards the clubhouse, this Par 4 presents a solid birdie opportunity—provided you keep it in play! Out of Bounds lurks all along the right-hand side, making the left side of the fairway the ideal target off the tee.
Are you taking on the right side off the tee, or playing it safe down the left?

It’s thirsty work playing golf! Thanks again to our friends at Durty Brewing for sponsoring this hole.
