Great ideas often begin with a great conversation Looking back at Common Ground during MADENESS: Material & Design Experience Lab 2026, a space where creative discussions, spontaneous exchanges, and shared experiences brought people together around new possibilities for materials and design Featuring stools by @dusdukduk, mycelium totem by @mycl.bio, and flooring by @taco.id Common Ground invited visitors to pause, connect, and exchange perspectives while rethinking how we make, use, and share the spaces around us Thank you to everyone who brought their ideas, curiosity, and conversations into our Common Ground!

What can I say, Pesta Boneka: Holding Hands (it’s tenth) was an absolute blast. Excellently curated, great energy, extremely passionate, and a wonderful opportunity to catch up and meet puppet artists and friends around the world. It is always stunning to see great stories done so intimately and stunningly thanks to the power of puppetry. Jodi, Rune, and I were completely moved by the performances, and we’ve certainly learnt a lot from the conversations too. Big hugs to @papermoonpuppet and all our friends there! Can’t wait to see you and your next creations soon!

#pappermoon #pestaboneka #yogyakarta #wayang #indorent

Holding hands is better with your loved ones. Join our workshops made for kids, parents, and everyone in between. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Slide through to see what's in store for you! - Together with Drama of Works, Pesta Boneka 10 invites children and families to discover Toy Theater, a small-scale form of puppetry performed on a tabletop with miniature stages, scenery, and flat puppets. The workshop opens with a short look at the history of Toy Theater and how artists still reinterpret it today. Then it's your turn to make one! With cardboard, cereal boxes, discarded printed materials, sticks, and markers, you'll build your own miniature stage and a set of puppets. Bring a story you already have in mind, or come and see what appears as you cut, draw, build, and play. Nothing needs to be complicated. A small piece of cardboard can become a character, a cereal box can become a stage, and suddenly a whole world fits on top of a table. 📦✨ 🗓 Saturday, 10 October 2026 🕘 08.00–10.00 WIB 📍 Ruang Beo, Komplek Kampoeng Media, Yogyakarta By registration via streamingaja.id More details about program and performances: www.pestaboneka.com #PestaBoneka10 #HoldingHands #InternationalPuppetFestival #PapermoonPuppetTheatre #PuppetFestival What can an empty wooden block become in your imagination? 🪵 A house, a person, a forest, a strange creature, or maybe something that doesn't have a name yet. At Pesta Boneka 10, join Block Theatre Workshop with KO-KOO-MO from Finland 🇫🇮 and discover the endless possibilities hidden inside simple wooden blocks. There are no fixed characters and no single story to follow. Arrange, stack, balance, move, and sculpt space with the blocks to create your own characters, landscapes, and dreams. A block can be one thing now and something completely different a moment later. What happens next is up to you. This intimate workshop welcomes children, young people, and adults to play and create together. ✨ 🗓 Saturday, 10 October 2026 🕘 09.00–10.00 WIB 📍 Pendopo Kanthil, Komplek Kampoeng Media, Yogyakarta By registration via streamingaja.id More details about program and performances: www.pestaboneka.com #PestaBoneka10 #HoldingHands #Intern
