my work was displayed at the coolest gallery show ever!! @dustbunnychi 🥰🥰🥰🥰 thanks for supporting my art!

Thia piece, Sonata Pathétique, is named after one of Beethoven's most well-loved pieces. The painting is inspired by the desperation of this sonata. Falling in love can sometimes be mistaken for total subjugation to the person one thinks they're in love with. The loss of control and boundaries has the potential of leaving someone feeling pathetic at the hands of someone they thought cared for them. In this piece, I explored the complete adoration for another person. A feeling that buries the lover beneath the loved as they rise on a pedestal where no humiliation they put onto the lover will knock them down. The colors signify emotions - vulnerability, naivety, and unspoken desires.
