I was a scientist for 7 years, now I am a photographer. I just want to do what no one else does. Shooting multiple styles. Film or digital!

Honored to be featured by @voyagelamag and to have the opportunity to reflect on the road that brought me here.

There are no shortcuts in this business. For me, it was 15 years in the service industry, countless auditions, rejection, producing my own projects, and learning that no one is coming to build your career for you. That responsibility belongs to us.

Today, I’m grateful to be working as an actor, writer, producer, director, educator, and entrepreneur—but the lesson remains the same: create your own opportunities, stay curious, and keep evolving. The industry is changing faster than ever, and the artists who adapt will be the ones still standing years from now.

Thank you to VoyageLA for sharing my story. I hope there’s something in it that encourages another creative to keep going.

The next chapter is just getting started—with @cyberprotocolmovie - Outer Banks Season 5, and a slate of new projects through Exertion Films.

I’m really mean and intense on set ➡️ lol, jk.

In my experience balance is key.

First AD fits and moments.

Huge thank you to @official_roberto_sanchez and @the_maycal for bringing me onto this project.

I could write an opus of “thank you’s” and memorable moments. But, I’m still kinda in recovery from the 5 days of night shoots!

I will say, I am particularly proud of the collaboration and team work on set that made it possible to get all the coverage we needed.

Based on my basic script breakdown one of our days was going to take 32 hours (excluding caveats about the script like how many 8ths was dialogue vs description, etc)…we got it done in 12h. And that was one of our longest days…pretty good!

While scheduling I tried my best to give people time to recover and AT LEAST 12hrs of turn around time between load out and load in the next day.

I’ve included some impromptu storyboards that I hope you all enjoy. 😆

Have you ever seen a shoot schedule? I’m including pics of mine here…notes and all! I did omit a few things because I’m not in the business of giving out spoilers!

S/o to @be_bold_dreambig and @chutitiu for sending me pics!
