I saw this 2016 trend and felt like “why not,” since I hadn’t posted in a while. It was the last year of my 20s. I got my first tattoo. I went to Vegas for the second time. I was the skinniest I’d be since high school. I was crushing it at my first “grown up” job. And was just having a blast with all my besties being in our 20s. Trump hadn’t become president yet….Oh, simpler times.

September was my favorite month this year, and one word has come to mind this morning as I reflect on it: balanced.

Taking two trips this month- one to a cozy cabin with girlfriends, and one with my wife to Vegas to celebrate one of my closest friends getting married felt rejuvenating and healing. Opening @reputationthesalon with my bestie @rileysstylez was scary while also exciting, and to have seen over 40 clients in my first month alone just warms my soul. I LOVE being your Stylist. I love being your friend. Thank you to everyone who has made this past September what it was. Ready to welcome October. 🤍

Some of my greatest hits, if you will. 🤍

I honestly could have selected any number of photos and videos on my camera roll, because ALL of my clients are so incredibly beautiful, inside and out. I can’t believe I get to work with such incredible people every single day. It’s my dream job! I couldn’t do what I love without all of you. 🤍

Narrowing down “favorites” from a year filled with so many incredible moments is impossible, but here’s 10 real moments I’m incredibly proud to have created.

Just 3 weeks away (at least for me & @alliedoodles) until our India trip to celebrate the union of @dvishaaaa + @tyler.olsen.1, traditional Indian wedding style!! This trip has been over a decade in the making, and I don’t think it’s fully sunk in yet! It’s just been a dream for so long…
✨✨✨✨✨
Words can’t describe how much this moment, and this two women mean to me. I’m so very fortunate to have them in my life after all these years. And even furthermore blessed beyond belief at how supportive and helpful they have been with me and trip, not having a steady job. You two are true gems!!
✨✨✨✨
I’m super nervous. This is my first trip out of the country, and it’s a world that is so out of my realm. But I know I will have the time of my life, with the best friends and guides that I could have. Look forward to vacation photos in the next few months. Imma milk the shit out of my first international trip!!!
