Captain America: Brave New World🍿

As a Marvel fan it felt good to be back in the theater catching the next installment of the franchise. Brave New World was a decent watch and had its moments throughout the film but overall lacked character development. The action scenes were solid but the CGI definitely could’ve used a little extra help towards the end. They did throw in some good jokes that had the audience engaged and laughing but overall the dialogue was a little mid. However, it was pretty cool to see some familiar faces pop up and it’s exciting to see what’s next to come for Marvel. If you’re a fan, be sure to check it out this weekend!

We also had some of our friends join us, so there’s a little more opinions this time around 🎟️

Gladiator II 🍿

Genuinely enjoyed this film. The plot played well into the original Gladiator and the action kept it entertaining throughout. It was cool to see how they implemented the glory of the infamous Colosseum at the height of its prime. Paying homage to its predecessor, everything tied together pretty well and it gave you the opportunity to grow with the new characters while also seeing some original faces. Overall it was a fun watch and recommend watching the previous Gladiator if you haven’t before or at least some sort of recap so you’re familiar with the characters and storyline.
