@amermedicalassn September is #WomenInMedicineMonth. We recognize all the women physicians, residents, and #medstudents working to make health care more equitable. From clinics to classrooms, women physicians, residents, and #medstudents lead with purpose and inspire those around them every day. Join me in honoring these trailblazers and showcasing the dedication of women in the medical field during #WIMMonth. https://www.ama-assn.org/women-medicine-month #WomenofAMA #WomenPhysicians #SheForShe AMA’s Women Physicians Section(WPS): https://www.ama-assn.org/member-groups-sections/women-physicians-section-wps

@amermedicalassn @acpimphysicians @idsainfo @amwadoctors “It is accomplished.” As #AMAMtg A-25 concludes, I am energized by the #PhysicianAdvocacy #HealthPolicy for patients and our profession of #Medicine which occurred this past week in #AMAHOD #OurAMA. It was such a joy to facilitate the #AMA #WPS business meeting, assembly, and mentoring event (“speed mentoring”), for the #WomenPhysiciansSection. The many friendships and connections, both old and new, are what keep me coming back, year after year. I appreciate the opportunity to provide testimony, advocating for the preservation of science, public health infrastructure, clinical integrity, biomedical research, vaccine confidence, evidence-based medicine & decision-making, health equity, gender equity, and the patient-physician relationship. I am also excited and honored to share that I have been re-elected to another term on the AMA WPS Governing Council, and also re-elected as Chair for a second year. It is urgent and important to ensure that the voices of our patients and our physicians are heard. Looking forward to even more opportunities to advocate for our profession of medicine and our patients in weeks and months to come. #IMProud #InternalMedicine #IDPhysician #WomenInMedicine #PhysicianLeader

@acpimphysicians Happy #InternalMedicineDay to all #IMProud #InternalMedicinePhysicians #IMPhysician colleagues and friends! Thank you for all you do for our patients and our profession of medicine. "Join today in celebrating Internal Medicine Day on Monday, Oct. 28, in recognition of the essential role of internal medicine physicians around the world." "Internal medicine physicians are experts in complexity who serve and lead in many diverse roles and settings. We are critical thinkers who excel in the most challenging and dynamic environments and provide compassionate care for our patients throughout their health care journey." "Internal medicine physicians are the cornerstone of clinical care—vital to patients, other medical professionals, and the health care system." Thank you to these #IMProud colleagues and friends, and so many more (who are not pictured), for contributions to patient care and the practice of medicine.
