4 days in Austin and we packed A LOT in. 🤠🔥

First up, our first time with the Anderson High School Trojan Belles @ahstrojanbelles and we could not have asked for a better introduction. We created an emotional contemporary piece to a classic song, and these dancers brought so much heart to the process. This is the kind of piece that will make people fall in love with this program if they haven’t already. ❤️

We also had an incredible master class with @utexasdance! 🤘 It was so great getting to know the new members and having some time to move with the team before we head back to Austin in about 6 weeks for choreography. Consider this the preview. 👀

And we couldn’t leave Texas without a little Episodes moment. Our Episodes solo choreography winner @rachel.karbarz made the trip from Houston to set a sassy new jazz solo, and she absolutely delivered. Great job, Rachel! We can’t wait to watch this one grow throughout the season. ✨

Last but definitely not least, an extra special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Emily McFarland, who spent her birthday right here in Austin with us! 🥳 We appreciate everything you do and are so lucky to have you along for all of these adventures.

And don’t worry everyone. There was PLENTY of celebrating. It wasn’t all work. 😂🎂

Austin, you kept us busy. Until next time! 🤠

Special thank you to @dwatx for letting us use their awesome studio space!

Mermaid Camp at @dwatx was pure magic! 🧜‍♀️✨

A week full of dancing, crafts, and new friendships made for the sweetest memories. Themed camps are one of our favorite parts of summer at DW, and they still have more summer fun to come!
