DEATHWISH COMPANY Mid-Controls Update! Due to having a shop full of bikes and a metric-ton of work to do next to making parts they took a little longer to finish.. But we got all the components made and finished and true to spec, so we can actually show you guys the finished product SOON! There going to be made in 2 types of finishes: - polished - satin finish All completely 304 stainless steel & comes with all the chrome hardware you need to bolt em right up on your bike.! Everything is made by hand (except the waterjet cutting the plates) so it takes a bit longer than a machineshop full of cnc machine to make some, but the quality won’t be any less.! We got invited by @the101run to be part of the “Come Hither build off” that the lovely people @horsey69 & @dicemagazine put together! So this means i gotta bring something that i built especially for this show… and since i figured there gonna be enough choppers on the show, why not make it interesting and built something outside of everybody’s comfort zone, because why the hell not? There’s this trent going round where people built there sportsters into “offroad” bikes, some better then others.. but all of them have 1 thing in common, they all use the original sportster frame and lines.. Deathwish Co wouldn’t be the shop that it has been for the past 10 years if i didn’t do things a little out of the ordinary.. so here goes nothing! Were building a (whats gonna be called): Hardly-Suki DR 1200+ SM Taking a Bone stock Suzuki DR650 take everything out and off the bike, smacked in some USD forks, Supermoto wheels, convert it to right side drive, but keeping the looks of the Iconic Dualsport fairing etc.. Were only using the Harley sportster powerplant, rebuilding it to a souped up fast wheelie poppin 1200+ and cramming that into a frame it wasn’t built for is gonna be a challenge soo were gonna build a custom frame that holds the engine & all the OG suzuki parts.. It is going to compete in a build off show.. soo it has to be a “showbike” but were building a functional “showbike” soo i guess your gonna have to wait and see.! 🔥 DWC PARTS presents 🔥 We’re very proud to announce, our very first production parts.!🤘 After a well and good time of testing / fitting and some extra development we finally decided to go ahead and make a run of the DWC-MID CONTROLS! Made a prototype in march ‘21 put it on my own bike to see how it would work and fit up on my shovel as a suicide foot clutch, worked like a charm! Beginning of this year I decided to build it into a normal shifter/footpeg mount & that works like a charm as well! After our friend Paul asked us to make him a set-up like i had, we decided to go ahead and make em and put them up for sale..! Soo if your on the look out for a nice way to get your mid-control shifter/footclutch setup on your open primary bike your building this winter.. DON’T look and further..! We’ve got you covered!! Comes in 2 way’s: 1 - stainless steel polished 2 - stainless steel satin finish Taking pre-orders as of now! Today marks the 10year anniversary of my shop @deathwishcompany I would like to thank all the lovely people that believed in me over the last decade, especially my Mom & Dad for always sticking by my bullshit, ofcourse my lovely best friend (that also happens to be my beautiful wife) @sabinacolada for always believing in me..❤️ My 2nd father Erik, for teaching me most of the things i know.. and almost all the skills i use to this day! But foremost the way of looking at this thing called “life” and teaching me to just do me, and never focus on the hater’s i do me, you do you mentality🙏🏻 To the homie who always supports any other business who also needs all the love he can get a true legend and allround best friend @rustygoldmotorshop thank you for beeing there with me all these years🖤 And last but not least, the clients that made these 10 years a real trip… trusting me to built them there dream bike or maintaining there (sometimes old and crappy) but most of all beloved bikes that they still enjoy! I can truly say i’m damn well pleased with passing this Decade mark looking back on some real cool and real dark times.. but without the dark you’ll never know what your made off and growth only comes from mistakes, with that said. There will be some REALLY EXCITING NEWS dropping SOON! BIG THINGS HAPPENING As some off you might know, were going to make a really big change around here @deathwishcompany were gonna move house & shop! To make this exciting thing happen i’m gotta let go of some of my own toys, and clean out the shop.. keep an eye out, were posting allot of stuff that is up for grabs in the next couple of weeks.. To start it off here’s 2 bikes that i need gone! 1st: 883 4-speed sportster hardtail bobber project bike, 2x 18” wheels, brand new complete springer front-end, with allot of bits and peaces to built this into something really cool.! Firm: 6K 2nd: 2007 harley Dyna Superglide Stage 3 computer tuned, 551B hotcams by S&S, S&S aircleaner, vance & hines open exhaust, S&S geardriven Cams, completely new primary/rotor/BDL compensator, nearly new tires front&rear, rebuilt front-end, Bitubo fully adjustable rear shocks, detachable sissybar, RSD grips, new battery, got all new fluids, whole bike checked over and done up less then 150km ago! Who’s up for this bike.? Listen closely now, i’m going to part with this bike… yes your reading that right!! The Anti Christ is up for grabs! It’s an all matching numbers “frame” neck, engine & gearbox.. as most of you know i’ve built this bike for myself as a personal show/love project.. put my heart and soul into this one, almost everything is hand crafted by eigther me or other lovely people from our small custom scene.. Here’s some details: - special hardtail frame DWC - 41mm 8” over super narrow front end - barney lowers @alleychoppers - invaders @louiedeathgrip - 4 speed ratchet top “rebuilt” - ‘71 1200 cc cone shovel “rebuilt” - custom seat @silvermachine_seats - custom sissybar “DWC” - custom exhaust “DWC” - custom gastank “DWC” - narrow apes “DWC” - flanders rizers @dbbpdesign - custom oilbag “DWC” - custom shifter by @demonlung66 - “paint job” @bart_verstijnen - tank paint @cheapo69 Only put about 800km’s on since complete rebuilt motor and trans.. so it’s only broken in just now.. WERE BACK! After allot of bullshit, sitting still and training my “new” ankle i’m finally back at it.. doing what i do best, and loving every minute of it! What beter way to start back up to kick off the season with a fresh built like this kickass sporty! Our dearest friends @silvermachine_seats who’d done a killer seat for this customer in the first place, topped off with a crazy cool complete custom paintjob by the one and only @royal_jack this bike came out bitchin.!
