POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night, Chef Diwesh had the honor of participating in the inaugural @bestfestomaha , organized by @omahamagazine and our good friend @mr.west402 .

Months of planning, countless hours of work, and an incredible group of chefs, musicians, organizers, volunteers, and supporters came together to create something truly special. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, and the event was cut short during the first service.

Still, we’re grateful to have been part of the beginning of what we believe will become a beloved Omaha tradition. The vision behind Best Fest—bringing together food, music, and community—is something worth celebrating, and we’re excited to watch it grow in the years ahead.

To everyone who purchased tickets for the Saffron table, thank you. We’re currently working on a way to welcome you back to Saffron and share the meal we had prepared for Best Fest.

More details coming soon.

A special thank you to Tay West for bringing this idea to life and for creating a platform that celebrates chefs, artists, musicians, and the community that supports them.

And finally, Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there.

A very special congratulations to our partner Rocky and his wife Sonam on the arrival of baby Bodhi. We’re excited to celebrate Rocky’s first Father’s Day and send our love to the entire family as they begin this beautiful new chapter.

To celebrate Father’s Day, Chef Diwesh has prepared a special feature:

24-Hour Dry-Brined Filet Mignon
Sous Vide • Reverse Seared • Carrot Masala • Beef Jus

Available with optional wine pairings.

This Father’s Day feature is available in limited quantities and will only be served while supplies last.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Saffron.

For months, we’ve been working on something new.

Chef Diwesh is putting the finishing touches on Saffron’s upcoming Chef’s Table Series—a thoughtfully curated tasting menu inspired by Indian spices and flavors, while embracing techniques and influences from across the globe.

Every dish is being carefully tested, refined, and reimagined to deliver a dining experience unlike anything we’ve offered before.

Limited availability nightly. Available only while supplies last.

More details coming soon.

Our 4th Community Kitchen Supper Club was amazing!!

It was an honor to host Chef Joel Hassanali and his family as they shared their Trinidadian roots, family traditions, and personal stories through an incredible dinner. This wasn’t a menu from one of his restaurants—it was a glimpse into home, and we were grateful to be part of it.

A special thank you to Charlie Ludwig for yet another thoughtful and beautifully executed wine pairing experience. As always, he brought another layer of storytelling to the evening.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us around the table. Community Kitchen exists to celebrate chefs, their journeys, and the connections that happen when great food and great people come together.

A big shoutout to our helping hands behind the scenes—Chef Diwesh, Rocky, Sagar, Michael, Hector, and Naresh—for helping make the evening possible.

And the journey continues.

We’re excited to welcome @chef_chris_blaze of Salted EDGE as our next guest chef on July 20. Chef Chris will take over the kitchen for one evening to share his own story, inspiration, and creativity through a one-night-only menu.

Tickets will be released soon, and if the last few dinners are any indication, seats won’t last long.

We look forward to seeing you around the table again.

Namaste.

A heartfelt thank you to Chef Roberto Garcia for sharing his vision and story with us, to Charlie for always matching the energy, to our diners for being part of this experience, and to our good friend Josh Foo for being instrumental in our Supper Club journey.

The evening was truly special. Chef Roberto and team; Chefs (Jack Michael @semofremont - Abraham @cattlecall_restaurant_bar - Marco @saltededge Alvaro @saffron.urban.indian.kitchen - alongside Charlie @v_mertz , delivered an unforgettable experience — one that reminded us exactly why we started this journey.

Our Community Kitchen Supper Clubs exist for one simple reason: to give chefs the freedom to create and to share their story through food. We believe dining can be more than a meal — it can be connection, a celebration of craft, and a way to honor the journey behind every dish.

For one night, the guest chef leads, we step back, and everyone at the table becomes part of that story. Together, we celebrate creativity, thoughtfulness, and the joy of sharing something made with intention.

We’re incredibly excited to host our next Supper Club soon and continue building this community together.

Namaste.
