when I look back over my life and i think things over, i can truly say that ive been blessed. i got a testimony.
_______

spent the past week reconnecting with some of the men i consider brothers, friends, mentors and arch nemesis as we celebrated the pending nuptials of one of the best men i know (and one of my oldest friends) William Miller. i was reminded of the magic of abiding brotherhood, of the genius and ambition of black men, and the wonder of growing old alongside them. believe it or not, it wasn't a weekend of debauchery - (God we tried) - still, it was a weekend im most proud of. we laughed, we debated economic policy, we complimented each other, we hugged, and we expressed great pride that life allowed us to make it this far and still have hair.
_______

days later on Atlanta i was able to surprise my culinary mentor @larry.ferg as he flourished in his dream job as head chef at @virgilsgullahkitchen. im overjoyed.
congrats to @billjames3 and his beautiful fiancee @caressbme. @bnorbeout #amenians

My Line brother @philofdreams spoke on a panel and screening hosted by @ghostnoteagency and @helpingchange
What does Afrofuturism mean to you?

Also, how can these themes unlock our radical and collective imagination around what's possible for justice in our schools and community?

Meet the staff!
We all got together around September 2016 wanting to build a better urban social-athletic experience for young professionals in the DMV! We are so proud of what #ProjectBlackFlagDC has grown to be as of today and can't wait to see where it goes in the future!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support! We couldn't have done it without each of you! 🏈
