At the beginning of this pregnancy, the Lord told my husband and me that we would want for nothing. He told me to rest. Y’all know me I am up moving, grooving and shaking. I didn’t know how humbling it would be to sit still until I stopped trying to plan, prep, and be proactive on His promise.

Now, here I am 9 months pregnant, and we have truly wanted for nothing.

Coming from a little girl in Baltimore who lost both parents before 12 and spent years trying to build a different life, I’m overwhelmed by God’s goodness.

Watching Him use broken pieces, faithful friends turned family, family, and community to show up for us has me in complete awe.

Only God. ❤️ I’ll never stop sharing my testimony because we live in a world that makes everything look so glamorous. What a mighty God we serve, you know that song that says “ who am I that you keep me on your mind, God I am just grateful…” yeah that’s my mood because if He can do it for me, what more could He do for you.

Chapter 22 officially closed.

I’m a few days late but wanted to share all of the things the Lord did in my life this year. When I turned 22 I had countless people tell me that it was going to be my biggest year yet and I believed it would be likely other year before that… but God had other plans✝️

Long caption coming so bear with me😅

In this past year…
•God called me to my biggest life change and I found a new home with @trinitynewyork
•Made so many memories with so many amazing people while answering the call that the lord put on my life as a leader❤️
•Spent a LOT of time outside☀️
•Joined a softball league for the first time🥎
•Auditioned and got one of the BEST jobs I’ve ever had with working for the @nyknicks 💙🧡
•Visited the south🤠
•Watched many of my friends get engaged/married💍
•Experienced the chaos of the magical run my basketball team made in the playoffs last season🥹
•Built my first bike🚲
•Built the most amazing friendships within my new community🙏🏽

and most importantly…
•Met the most special person in the world🤍

God has been faithful in chapter 22 and just going off of what he did this past year, I will never downplay the saying “this year will be my biggest year yet” ever again. Thank you Lord for all the opportunities you’ve given me and for giving me another year of life❤️

Chapter 23 let’s get it onnn📖❗️
