Momentum Aardklop 2026 | Where the Magic Happens

There’s always something special about seeing what happens behind the scenes.

Last week at @aardklopkunstefees 2026, we had the opportunity to spend time with the crews and technical teams who worked tirelessly to bring the festival to life.

From planning and production to all the technical details that need to come together before the audience ever takes their seats, it takes a lot of people to make a festival like this happen.

A huge thank you to Pieter-Jan Kapp from PJK Project Management for giving us a glimpse into the work that happens behind the scenes.

And to the team at @blond.productions, thank you for welcoming us in and allowing us to capture some of the people and technical work behind the festival.

Thank you also to Jaques Pretorius from @dwrdistribution for the technical support where needed and for helping us keep those relationships going throughout the festival.

The festival may be over, but it was great to capture a little of the work and the people behind the scenes. @robelighting @ma_lighting_international

Momentum Aardklop 2026 | The People Behind the Festival

The stages are packed away, the crowds have gone home, but we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the people who helped make @aardklopkunstefees 2026 happen.

We spent some time behind the scenes catching up with the crews and technical teams and getting a glimpse into what goes into keeping a festival of this scale moving.

A big thank you to Kappie from PJK Project Management for taking the time to share some insight into the planning, coordination and technical side of the festival.

We’d also like to thank @blond.productions, the festival’s trusted technical supplier, for welcoming us behind the scenes and allowing us to capture the teams at work.

And thank you to Jaques Pretorius from @dwrdistribution for providing technical support where needed and helping us maintain those important relationships throughout the festival. @robelighting @ma_lighting_international

Momentum Aardklop 2026 | Behind the Scenes

What a week it was at @aardklopkunstefees 2026.

While audiences enjoyed the shows, there was a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes to bring the festival together.

We caught up with @pieterjankapp, Technical Manager from PJK Project Management, to get a glimpse into the planning, coordination and technical work that goes into an event of this scale.

A big thank you to Kappie and the team at @blond.productions, the festival’s trusted technical supplier, for welcoming us behind the scenes and allowing us to capture some of the people and work that make Aardklop happen.

Thanks also to @jaquespre from @dwrdistribution for providing technical support where needed and helping us keep those important relationships going throughout the festival. @robelighting @ma_lighting_international

Such a privilege to have attended the DiGiCo Basic Training hosted by Mark Robson at @dwrdistribution .What a great opportunity to learn what the DiGiCo ecosystem is all about and get hands-on with the S-Series and Quantum Series. 🎛️
It was also great being exposed to the broader technologies that support the DiGiCo ecosystem, including @klang_technologies , @fourieraudio and @sounddevices

Experiences like these really put into perspective what needs to be learned and put into practice.
