Roll Call 2026: Days Inn - pt. 1 🎞️

The after party is always one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend. This is everything a great meet is supposed to be. The vibes are always high and it’s consistently such a solid group of cars and owners from all four corners of eastern Canada.

Roll Call 2026: Indoors 📸

This year I really wanted to have my work look different from all the years before and I took so I only shot with my film camera for outdoors and my older Nikon D800 w/ flash indoors. Ultimately, I took so many photos that didn’t turn out but I’m glad I still took the risk creatively to try something new.

The shutter drag really helps me connect to the life inside an event like Roll Call

The flash really helped to bring out some of the colours that get lost under the indoor lights.

Most of the photos are slightly out of focus or blurry and that’s just fine with me, I don’t stop moving during the show and it really reflects what the pace is like to shoot a show like this in one day.

I only shot wide for all the indoor coverage and it really feels more intimate and close than some of my regular shots from years prior.

Also having the flash inside was great to highlight details of interiors that otherwise get lost and overlooked

Owners put so much effort into getting their cars clean that I’m glad the flash really helped to pull out the shine on their paint.

Even shots under hoods of cars really benefit from the flash

Movement is all I’m after these days, I want it to feel like I apart of the crowed instead of setting up each shot perfectly
