A big thank you to everyone who showed up for our Long Live Queer Nightlife event last Saturday.

A lot of different ideas were shared, questions were raised, musical genres were explored and most importantly our space was made to connect. Thanks to the panelists, artists and staff that brought this night to life.

DM us if you have any feedback!

Keep an eye out on our socials for the next one.

Proud to announce our line-up for our next week’s Long Live Queer Nightlife!

The evening begins with a panel hosted by @tourguidejens, bringing together queer event organizers from across the city to discuss its strengths, challenges and possibilities.

The first conversation features @yasmine.d88 from @dykeliciousss, @_safirsafirsafir_ from @lesbianrenaissance and @jaja_nette_ from @panty.on, sharing their experiences and perspectives on organizing within Ghent’s nightlife queer scene.

After the panel, our soundsystem will be running extra hot:
@lauravioli__ @krietjur @_____kezban @mamba_lola

Exactly 3 weeks ago today, we took to the streets to join @collectief8m_gent on their March for Women’s Rights through Ghent. 💜

We all came together to form our Queer and trans block, walking in solidarity for Women’s Rights. Equal rights, for everyone. Equal rights, for all women. 🏳️‍⚧️

Thanks to all who joined us and helped us make this clear statement. We were many. We were loud. We were clear. Queer and trans people will always show up to fight for other people’s rights. ✊

This year, we will once again be loud and many in our block at the demonstration for women’s* rights with a clear message: ‘Queer & Trans Feminists in Solidarity!’ Will you be there to join us on the 8th of March?

We believe it is important for the queer and trans community to show up strong and united. On the one hand, to support the women’s* movement in solidarity, and on the other hand, because the structures that discriminate against women also affect our communities—often disproportionately. That is why we, the diverse queer & trans collectives in Ghent, are calling for a massive turnout—united and loud!

Together with 8 Maars, we wholeheartedly endorse the four demands to fight against an outdated view of society that threatens to further reduce the pensions and security of women* and gender minorities—only grassroots power, in solidarity with each other, will bring about change. Or, as Leslie Feinberg said, ‘My right to be me is tied with a thousand threads to your right to be you.’

We are taking the initiative from the Ghent Queer & Trans collectives to realise this block, but we have decided that on the day we will come ‘as ourselves’. That means: no logos or flags from the organisations themselves—we are one queer community.

Would you like to help us organise this, before or during? Send us a message!

The games I played in August! It was a month with good events^^ I played games at @mysticon.be, @condacum_vivit_kontich, @untitled_flinta_project in @broei.be, @brusselsgamesfestival in @theeggbrussels and at @dykeliciousss at @detuinvanheden. A big thanks to All the organisations that make time for play!

And during the week I play games at our weekly Boardgame meetup in the @bobacatgent and in the evening in @worldsendcomicsgames.

I also went to Leuven to @loadsofgeek and @marjan_mathys to play Vantage from @jameystegmaier which was wonderful! And I hope we will have more playdates^^

I met up with the wonderful @tomb_tactics and we played Radlands! I had a lot of fun and you will see more of him on my channel for sure^^

And yess, Rummikub is my most played game haha! It’s simple to explain, portable, most people know it, yet it’s engaging^^

Thank you for everyone who I shared a table with 🙏

Where do you play games? 🎲
