Mine is 20:4. 🤍 “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” — Psalm 20:4 For a long time, I thought that verse was about God giving me the things I wanted. Turns out, He had some work to do on the heart doing the wanting first. There are parts of my story I never would have chosen. Loss. Failure. Starting over. Healing. Learning to surrender what I couldn’t control and learning to let God deal with my heart instead of letting bitterness take root there. And somewhere in that process, the desires changed too. Avowal 119 was born from that place. Not from having a perfect testimony. From realizing God could give meaning to all of it. That’s why we use numbers instead of letters. A number can be a Bible verse that carried you. A date that changed you. A person you love. A mile you conquered. A season you survived. A promise you’re still believing. The jewelry is beautiful. But the story around your neck is the point. And getting to build this in Jacksonville the city I call homewith people who believe in the mission makes this 904 Day pretty freaking special. Now I want to know yours: if you could wear ONE number that tells part of your story, what would it be? Drop the number + meaning below. 👇 #ChristianTestimony #FaithBasedBusiness #JacksonvilleFlorida #JewelryWithMeaning #Avowal119

Around here, numbers mean something. ⛓️ A date you’ll never forget. A verse that carried you. A number that represents someone you love. A finish line you fought for. A chapter you survived. A promise you’re still believing. At Avowal 119, we don’t use letters to tell your story. We use numbers. Because in a world where people are constantly reduced to numbers and statistics, we believe numbers can mean something more. They can carry testimony. And here’s where your story becomes bigger than what you’re wearing: Through the Avowal 119 Foundation, we’re working to help survivors of human trafficking move into their next chapter through trade-school scholarships and restorative-care efforts with trusted local partners. Your number tells your story. Your purchase helps someone keep writing theirs. Born in Jacksonville. Built with purpose. Made to mean something. So we’ll ask you one thing… WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER? 👇 Drop yours below and tell us the story behind it. #Avowal119 #JewelryWithMeaning #JewelryWithPurpose #JacksonvilleFL #904Day

Read the caption: What started as a simple headshot session turned into something I never saw coming. When I first met @mp1run, we were creating a few headshots and images for her jewelry brand. At the time, I was just beginning to understand the story behind @avowal.119 and the mission she had built around helping victims and survivors of human trafficking. I was also preparing to retire after 25 years in the U.S. Navy. Funny how purpose has a way of finding you again. Since then, Melissa and I have worked together on several projects, and I’m incredibly grateful to now serve Avowal119 as Board Advisor, Strategic Growth & Engagement. Through charity events and the work happening behind the scenes, I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand what this organization does for people who need someone willing to stand beside them. For me, it became another way to serve. But if we want Avowal119 to help more victims, more people have to know the name, understand the mission, and feel connected to it. That’s where this project began. We brought together Jacksonville residents, local Christian apparel brand @eleventhhourappareljax , Aces and Spades Apparel on the designs, and filmmaker @meneses.film to take an idea we had and turn it into something real. This video is bigger than clothing, photography or content. It’s Jacksonville coming together behind a cause that deserves to be seen. This is Avowal119. And we’re just getting started. 🖤 Model: @dylan.bentley.gansert @riverlacoste

Some numbers should never become just statistics. Behind every number is a person. A story. A life that matters. That belief is at the heart of @avowal.119 , a Jacksonville-born brand with a purpose much bigger than jewelry. Founder Melissa Pearson @mp1run created Avowal 119 from a simple idea: “In a world where you’re just a number, let your number tell your story.” Each Avowal 119 chain can be customized with numbers called OTOTs, representing something meaningful to you. A scripture. A birthday. A milestone. A hometown. Even 904, the place we call home. But there is another reason the numbers matter. Human trafficking is often talked about through statistics. Numbers so large that it can become easy to forget there is a real human being behind every single one. Avowal 119 is working to change that. Through the Avowal 119 Foundation and trusted local partners, purchases help support human trafficking survivors through restorative care, survivor relief, outreach, trade-school scholarships and opportunities that help people rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. This is why we were proud to work with Avowal 119, and why we hope Jacksonville gets behind what they are building. Buy a chain. Share their story. Follow their mission. Start the conversation. Because awareness matters. Support matters. And sometimes something as simple as the number around your neck can help someone else begin writing an entirely new chapter.
