To my seniors,

I’m so incredibly proud of the men you have become. When things got hard this season, you didn’t crumble, you only ever rose to the challenge. Going 18 games without losing, winning the Private-8 title back to back years, and ending your HS careers never knowing what it felt like NOT to win a district title 🏆🏆🏆🏆 Of course we know the objective we had set for ourselves this season was not met and we won’t ever forget it because we’ll use it as a life lesson, chasing excellence is difficult, mediocrity is no pressure. For the rest of your lives, continue to be the men in the arena. 🏟️

Love,

Coach Danny

Running through a high-intensity 5v2 transitional rondo with the Verot boys! ⚽️⚡ On top of the technical benefits, this activity is a GAME-CHANGER 📈 for developing critical skills like vision/scanning, decision making and communication on the field. It challenges players to think ahead/faster, anticipate movements, and work together as a team. 💪🧠 A traditional rondo is great but the one demonstrated in the video above really raises the demands placed on the players. They must keep their heads on a swivel and communicate in order to identify second defender while also trying to not only maintain possession but also find the moment to penetrate / switch the field.

If you’re interested in the exact details/instructions on how the rondo above works feel free to shoot me a DM. 💯⚽️
