Hey 👋🏾 I make cool stuff.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re thrilled to officially reveal the poster for Awakening, the 2026 CSIF FISH Fund Recipient! 🎬🖤

Written and directed by Drew Peardon, Awakening is a psychological horror short that follows a young boy haunted by terrifying recurring nightmares—where he becomes a flesh-hungry monster imprisoned by his own family. As the lines between dreams and reality begin to blur, an unsettling truth emerges.

Inspired by classic horror and surrealist storytelling, Awakening explores isolation, identity, perception, and the universal desire for connection.

Congratulations to Drew and the incredible cast and crew bringing this haunting vision to life. We can’t wait to share more with you soon.

Grateful for the power of community and connection 🤍

A huge thank you to James at CSIF for introducing us to the incredibly talented Dylan Ntwali — we’re so excited to officially welcome him to The Awakening team as our editor.

Dylan’s work speaks for itself (hello, TIFF Next Wave Editing Award 2025 👏), and from the moment we met, we knew this was a special alignment. As Mike and I both come from Ontario and Dylan has recently made the move here, we bonded instantly — it truly feels like everything is falling into place the way it’s meant to.

The Awakening is a psychological horror written and directed by Drew Peardon that lives in the tension between fear and love — a haunting story of a “monster,” a family, and the fragile thread of humanity that connects them.

We can’t wait to bring this vision to life with such an incredible team behind it.

Different format, same love for the game 🎮⚽️

Huge thank you to everyone who competed and brought great energy to our first FIFA Tournament. Watching the community come together once again to support each other, talk football, and enjoy the game is exactly why Footwork Collective exists.

This was just another reminder that football is bigger than one format. More tournaments, more experiences, and more moments like this on the way!
