What does it mean to sit inside a slow, intentional process, while everything else moves fast?

To watch a family choose, deliberately, not to rush something that took centuries to build. Threads that have passed through generations of Maya women’s hands, telling stories with patterns that travelled through time and space.

That is XE‘IL - Threads of Culture, Tradition, and Community ✨

There is something powerful about seeing your own world reflected on screen. In Trinidad and Tobago, bringing films home to the @ttfilmfestival means giving audiences the chance to see our landscapes, hear our voices, recognize our experiences and connect with the stories that are uniquely ours. It’s more than a film,it’s a mirror of who we are, where we come from and the culture we carry forward. 🇹🇹🦇

‘Spectral’ will screen in Port of Spain as part of the @ttfilmfestival

In Memory of Richard DeVerteuil 🕊️🧡 We lost a truly special person and one of the protagonists of Trinitario – On the Edge.

We are deeply grateful that Richard shared his kind spirit, his wisdom, and his love for cocoa farming with us. It was a privilege getting to know him at his beautiful estate - San Antonio Estate - and witnessing his dedication to caring for the land, and Trinitario Cocoa.

Richard once told us: “I will go until I cannot go anymore.” And that is exactly what he did. He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and inspiration, one that we’re honored to share with you 🙏✨

Thank you, Richard, for everything you shared with us. 🤎🌱

Our deepest condolences and love to his family and to all who knew him. Your legacy lives on.

AT 60 NOW...
thought my body would Fail First
never believed the Mind would Wander
Old Ways don't start the fire anymore
New Demons are awake.
Whatever it takes.

Sport began with my
insecurities and smallness
Sport is surviving in my
Mature Compromises and
False Pride Fears.
i need both sides for now.

Blessed with
New Demons

Some rituals are best when shared: good coffee, familiar faces, and the willingness to slow down.

That’s what this space meant to me. The repetition of brewing: the weighing, grinding, pouring, tasting: done over and over, not out of routine, but out of care. A reminder that consistency creates quality, and that slowing down can be its own kind of ceremony.

Thank you to everyone who came, leaned into the experience, tried something new, asked questions, shared stories, and made the space feel so warm. Seeing people connect over coffee (and stay long after the cups were empty) was everything I hoped for.

A huge thank you to @michicoffeeco for the unbelievably addictive cookies and cake that paired so perfectly with the coffees. 🍪🤎

To @nandi_mandela for the cutest stickers, thank you 🥹

And to @ti.ki.ra, my co-conspirator, thank you for dreaming with me, making magic out of ideas, and helping create a space that felt so effortless and full of care.

To everyone who showed up, shared a table, and became part of this little ritual, thank you.

Until next time. ☕✨

Throw back to when @lonsdalesaatchi gave us a mission to create a launch video for @iflycaribbean press conference for their new uniform reveal press conference. It was supposed to be just an average, middle of the road reveal video.

However, there was a slight bump in the road....we don't do average.

We changed the project into a red carpet fashion catwalk!

Another production complete with a happy client, happy agency, happy cast and a happy crew/family.
