Hey, guys. So I just finished watching "Central Intelligence", and it was pretty good. It stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. It takes place 20 years later after being bullied as a teen for being overweight in 1996, Bob Stone shows up to his high school reunion looking fit and muscular. While there, he make for well-matched comic foils, helping Central Intelligence overcome a script that coasts on their considerable chemistry. Calvin Joyner, a fast-talking accountant who misses his glory days as a popular athlete. Stone is now a lethal CIA agent who needs Calvin's number skills to help him save the compromised U.S. spy satellite system. Together, the former classmates encounter shootouts, espionage and double-crosses while trying to prevent worldwide chaos.

I liked this movie pretty much. It was slightly enjoyable. The action scenes are cool, the jokes are quite funny, and Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are really good together with their performances. I like the moments, particularly the character of Bob Stone, or Robbie Weirdicht. He was a morbidly obese nerd and was so embarrassed by a group of bullies led by Trevor Olson on '96. Then, he lost 200 Ibs and became a CIA agent. As for Calvin Joyner, he accidentally got himself involved with Bob, and being attacked and chased by CIA agents, thinking it was misunderstanding and a mistake. And Bob and Calvin are good friends and joined him in the CIA. It's a really good, solid, action buddy-cop comedy movie, with Johnson and Hart makes for well-matched comic foils, helping Central Intelligence overcome a script that coasts on their considerable chemistry. Thumbs up for me on "Central Intelligence".

Central Intelligence (2016) 3/4 👍👍

To @therock and @kevinhart4real, thank you.

Sincerely,

Noah.
