October 1st marked my one year of training at Ironside with my coach, Casey. I was so nervous the day of my first session. I had no idea what to expect or even if I’d fit in or enjoy it. Not to mention I was so anxious I almost didn’t even walk in the door. (And yes I was 30 minutes early). I had never deadlifted, bench pressed or back squatted before. I didn’t enjoy “working out” or anything physically competitive. After my First session I was hooked like hook grip. Yes, muscular gains have been made on the barbell, but the gains in friendships weighs even more. Here for a strong time.
