It's hard to believe it's over and I'm gone. I am so glad I got to spend so much time with my best friends and my family ❤️

Just realized I never posted any of the pictures I took on vacation... oops!

We went to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The mountains were huge and everything was so pretty. We were driving out of Yellowstone and this part of the song, the peak of the second movement, was playing right as we rounded a corner and the mountain range came in to full view in front of us. It was absolutely surreal.

Just like that my junior year is over! I can’t say this year was great , but I sure wish I could say it was. This year was nothing but a challenge for me, everyday being a different one. From me almost failing to my brother leaving, from my friends leaving to continue their journey to me excepting I’m next. All I can say is thank you to everyone who helped me get through this year and I love every single one of you guys. No words can explain how much I appreciate every single one of you guys. For the ones staying back to finish high school next year, let’s make it a good one. To the ones going to college and to live their lives, go do great things I believe in every single one of you. 2026-2027 is my year and I’m not going to let anyone stop me!

MCHS Band Spring Concert 2026

My very last one (with a subplot where I play clarinet for a little bit? Thanks @_.hannahjones._ and @alia.diehl for being patient and helpful teachers).

9 years, 18 concerts, and countless more hours in rehearsal and the practice room. I would not be at all close to any recognizable facsimile of the person I am today without band: the music, the lessons, and most importantly, the people.

I have met all of my best friends through band. They are all wonderful and amazing human beings that I am incredibly lucky to have had the pleasure of making music with. Thank you all for every warmup, every specific, attainable goal we've met together, every rep and every run through, each laugh and every tear, and all of the notes we played along the way. I love you all more than you will ever know.

My last indoor drumline competition... sort of

We didn't actually compete because the school didn't have a line this year, but the Logan Guards went and they gave us a trophy so I am counting it.

I am really going to miss the indoor season. It meant the world to me the last two years, and I am so grateful to all my friends who made it amazing. I will forever miss the crazy bus rides, the mad libs in the backs of auditoriums, the silly dances at the awards ceremonies, getting huge chocolate eggs, getting lost trying to find said chocolate eggs in schools we've never been to, and above all, the music we made together.❤️
