That’s a wrap on the 2026 Fall World Series for our 15/16U and 17/18U age groups! ⚾

A big thank you to GLC alumnus Dylan O’Rae for stopping by to share what life is really like as a minor leaguer. Our players got a lot out of hearing it firsthand.

Congratulations to winning managers Cal Theal and Dalton Harvey and their teams on great series wins! 🏆

That closes out our 2026 Fall Season. Thank you to all of the families and supporters who came out this fall. To every player in the organization, congratulations on the progress you made this season. We can’t wait to get back to work this off-season! 🇨🇦

Dear @milb ,

We never thought any of this would happen.

We thought we were simply taking our dog to a baseball game.

We never thought people would start recognizing Ollie. We never thought we’d walk through the gates and hear his name being called before we even made it to our seats.

We never thought the @bhambarons would embrace him the way they did… much less multiple teams.

We definitely never thought organizations in other states would reach out and invite our dog to come experience their ballparks.

Somehow, that became our summer.

We loaded Ollie into the car and followed baseball wherever it took us. Different cities. Different ballparks. Different states.

Everywhere we went, people welcomed him.

Employees learned his name. Ushers looked for him. Mascots became his friends. Players stopped to meet him. Kids ran across concourses to pet him. Complete strangers walked up and asked, “Is that Ollie?”

We would see kids faces light up when we offered them one of Ollie’s “trading cards”. You would have thought they had just received the rarest card on the market!

There were so many moments when we looked at each other and thought…

How in the world did our dog become known at baseball stadiums?

Somewhere between the road trips, late nights and countless innings, we realized this had become about so much more than baseball.

It became about the people we met, the friendships we made and the memories we never saw coming.

Maybe that’s what we’ll remember most.

Ollie wasn’t simply allowed to be there.

He was welcomed.

He was expected.

He was known.

One day we’ll look back at these pictures and remember a summer when we drove all over the Southeast chasing baseball games with our best friend and we’ll remember just how lucky we were to experience it all together.

Thank you for embracing our big shaggy dog and giving him places where people were genuinely excited to see him walk through the gates.

We thought we were taking Ollie to baseball games.

Turns out, baseball was giving us memories we’ll carry for the rest of our lives.

For something called the “minor” leagues, there was absolutely nothing minor about what you gave us.

If you had told us a month ago that we’d be crossing state lines just to take Ollie to baseball games, we probably would’ve laughed.

After yesterday, Ollie has officially travelled to four states to attend a baseball game.

A couple of weeks ago, we met @dylorae33 after their game in Rocket City. Not long after, a few people with the @officialbiloxishuckers reached out and invited us to make the trip to Biloxi.

We checked our schedules, realized we could make it work and did what any reasonable people with a baseball-obsessed Old English Sheepdog would do…

We planned a last-minute road trip.

From the moment we walked up the steps at Keesler Federal Park, Ollie was welcomed by name! We made our way around the concourse, found our seats and Ollie immediately climbed into his seat and settled in for the game.

At this point, it’s kind of his thing.

He doesn’t just go to baseball games. He watches them. Sometimes more attentively than the humans around him.

The folks with the Shuckers were absolute gems. They even coordinated a meet-up with Dylan so we could give him the custom cards we had made featuring him and Ollie.

After the game, Ollie met Barqs, Shuck & Scout, three awesome pups who probably could’ve given him the full tour of every good smell in the ballpark if we’d had enough time.

Then there was Schooner.

Ollie LOVES mascots, and we’re becoming increasingly convinced he thinks they’re just giant stuffed animals that somehow came to life.

@chance.miller3 even took the time to seek us out just so he could meet Ollie.

That’s the part of these trips that always sticks with us.

We know Ollie is special to us. But when people go out of their way to welcome him, find him, meet him and make sure he has a great experience… we don’t take that intentionality for granted.

Somehow, this big fluffy dog keeps taking us places we never expected to go and introducing us to people we never would’ve met otherwise.

This time, it took us all the way to Biloxi, Mississippi.

Thanks for making Ollie feel so welcome, Shuckers.

Something tells us this won’t be our last trip to Biloxi.

Happy National Dog Day, Ollie.

We really don’t think you have any idea how many people love you.

When we first started sharing your adventures, we never imagined taking you hours from home and hearing someone ask, “Is that Ollie?” We never imagined strangers showing us that they follow you, or professional athletes, sports teams, and people at ballparks you’ve never visited knowing your name.

Sometimes we look at you and wonder: Do you know that people look forward to your adventures? That strangers smile when they see you coming? That you’ve helped us make so many friends?

Probably not.

You’re just Ollie.

You don’t care about money, followers, or who recognizes you. You don’t care whether the person petting you is a professional athlete or someone we just met in a parking lot. You just know somebody wants to be your friend.

And maybe that’s exactly why people love you so much.

You’ve taken us places we never would have gone, introduced us to people we never would have met, and given us stories we’ll tell for the rest of our lives. Somehow, our big fluffy dog turned ordinary weekends into adventures and strangers into friends.

While everyone else gets to know “Ollie,” we get something even better: the Ollie who carries Teddy and Hedgie around the house, needs his Dog TV, turns every car ride into the greatest adventure of his life, and remains completely unaware of how special he is.

But you are.

You deserve every bit of the love people have shown you. We hope you never understand the silly things humans care about. We just hope you always understand one thing:

You are loved.

By far more people than we ever imagined, but no one will ever love you quite as much as we do.

Happy National Dog Day, Ollie.

Thank you for letting us tag along on your adventure.
