11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. - Ephesians 6:11-17

ITS RACE WEEK and I’ve been on a constant loop of pray, serve, train, eat, sleep on REPEAT for God knows how long 🔁

This is a lifestyle, I don’t know anything else and don’t want to!

You live with intention or drown in the crowd

Where my warriors for GOD at?! 😤✝️⚔️🛡️🔋

Is your motivation temporary or EVERLASTING?

It’s okay to have goals that you want to achieve in life but when they are your foundation that’s when things begin to crumble and motivation starts to fade.

Earthly gains have no foundation because they are temporary.

When you have something bigger than life, something eternal, something EVERLASTING… That motivation becomes something that’s just part of you. It won’t perish.

The days keep getting stacked…

As you know, you get out what you put in…

Ask yourself, are you doing EVERYTHING you can to be the person you believe to be?

There’s only two answers [YES or NO]

A peak into what my Mondays have been consisted of ahead of @finding_barbara Regional Championship Oct 24th.

Mondays are always high volume pull ups push ups and dips with a mix of some curls just because and also Max rep with slight weight at the end of training.

Total volume just under 600 reps.

Later on I’ll do easy aerobic base training

There was my last set. Yes I know range can be better.

Each round I switch grips from regular to diamond to supinated to wide back to regular. The purpose of that I found is it works different muscle groups of each push/pull which I believe ultimately will strengthen the push/ pull motion as a whole.

I also switch the grips on my pull-ups as well

Nothing fancy here just dips.

After the five rounds I hit 3 rounds of seated curls 10 on each arm.

Really just creating more fatigue stimulus before I hit the last round of Max weighted calisthenics.

PRd today. Last week could only hit 7 pulls

Another PR

4 less today. Probably do to hitting unbroken sets in the first 5 rounds

Looked at the world we’re leaving in today…

You won’t get through this with your own strength. I’m sure we’ve all tried that time and time and time again with the end result being left burnt out…

You don’t have to do it alone. Trust in HIM ✝️🔋

DC HALF [5K] 2nd /2072 🥈1st Age Group 🥇
Chip time 17:16/mi
Watch time 17:12/mi

The plan was to go sub 17:00. The plan was also to warm up before the race. Neither was accomplished lol.

All in all I’m grateful for being able to move the body as always and happy with the results. Been 5 consistent months of running. Excited to see what a full year gets me!

All Glory to God! ✝️
