ELECTRO MING × RAD SHYT LABS

An ongoing exploration of material, experimentation, and the unexpected.

Through a process of copper deposition, polishing, and chemical patination, Electro Ming transforms familiar forms into something entirely their own.

Four experiments. Each shaped by a little chemistry, patience, and chance.

RAD has always been a dynamic, iterative cycle of problem-solving—turning abstract ideas into tangible realities.

Maybe those realities seem far-fetched to the naked eye, but it feels like we've found a home within the @designercon community.

From day one, we've built and designed our booth ourselves. It's modular—like Voltron—capable of scaling into massive defensive or offensive formations depending on the experience we're trying to create. For Pasadena, we experimented with a smaller footprint. For Vegas, we're developing something more robust.

Every show is a live trial. We study the spatial experience, observe what people gravitate toward, and test theory against reality. The findings become the foundation for the next iteration.

That's the best part of what we do: we have the ability to shape our future through research, art, and design.

Thank you for contributing, supporting, and believing in a small team that puts an unreasonable amount of effort into the smallest details.

It starts here—together.

Too much design today exists to attract attention rather than offer any real function or improvement. With that in mind, we make things for people’s lives.

We’re not streetwear, and we’re not something for TikTok. We create design goods or "shyt"—made by designers, for those who actually value design.

For those who need objects shaped by intention and a bit of foolishness—where the philosophies of Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa are discussed while Gregory Isaacs quietly lingers in the background.

Grand Wizard Botto Saka’s 25-Cent Balls of Wonder were created as a special experiment for D-Con — a love letter to the subcultures that shaped us: skateboarding, graffiti sticker bombing, and the cheap-but-magic trinkets from corner-store gumball machines. Reimagined through the lens of Dynamic Dynosaur, the drop is equal parts chaotic and clever. For a simple 25 cents, you might walk away with a super bouncy ball, a keychain, a sticker pack, or the coveted Golden Dyno Ticket (worth 25% off hats and tees). All crafted in the name of research, art, and design.
