Wowee, what a soulful summer. This summer there were big wins and big losses. I am grateful for a community that can come together and support each other, especially when times are tough. I am grateful for friends and family who cheer each other on through successes, too. Now, I am working towards my OTD degree, deep in the studies. While the FOMO is real, I am grateful for my body's ability to move, to learn, and to love.

What a dream come true to slackline on the Santa Monica Pier. When friends come together with passion and a mission, anything is possible. Thank you to everyone who spearheaded this mission and worked for months to make this happen.
I never knew how much I enjoyed performing until this weekend. What a joy to showcase the silliness and joy of slacklining to people visiting the pier... and to do it with the awesome community that I love so much!!
To slackfinity and beyond!

A year ago, Jim and I attended the city’s @smpier360 festival and scoped out potential highlines on the pier. We told ourselves that by next year, we’d have a highline on the pier. With all the sports showcased at the festival and Original Muscle Beach (OMB) being such a global hub for slacklining, it only made sense. Why shouldn’t the pier have its own iconic highline? 🎡

It wasn’t only our dream but also of many members of the OMB slackline community for YEARS! After realizing there was already momentum behind the idea, we formed a team of five, each bringing the unique skills this project required.

After six months of coordination and relationship building with the @cityofsantamonica , we finally received approval right down to the wire!! With last-minute approval and the unwavering support of the City of Santa Monica who worked tirelessly to review and approve us, we pulled off something truly 𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒄!

I can’t thank our team, performers, media crew, friends, and family enough for helping turn this dream into reality. You made this event pure magic. This event has opened up so many doors and we’re so excited to see what the future holds! Stay tuned!!

What an epic weekend it was on the Santa Monica Pier for the Santa Monica 360 event. The Original Muscle Beach slackers managed to get a highline to be rigged across the ocean, for a highline exhibition. It was a great time getting photos and hanging out with friends. Also, last night ended with a dance party at the Green. Have a good week everyone. 🌴🌞🤗⛱️ #sonyalpha #santamonica #santamonicapier #highline #SantaMonicaPier360

Working hard and we wouldn’t want it any other way 😊 We’re so lucky that we get to work on such creative endeavors when most folk are stuck working behind a computer screen
