“Basketball Ruined My Life” is a raw and honest reflection on how a deep love for the game became an all-consuming obsession.
From the very first moment holding a ball, basketball gave the author identity, purpose, and hope for escape. But over time, the same game demanded everything-time, body, mind-and gave nothing back when the dream fell apart. This book explores the emotional cost of tying your entire life to one goal, and the painful reality that for some, basketball doesn’t save—it destroys.

When I say...GAME CHANGERS!!!!!??? OH..y'all thought I was LYING when I said it's about to get REALLY REAL!?!? I'm about to go in my ZONE....Patric Bradley, P-Element products and instructional DVDS!!!! I'm pulling out mannequins....I'm making my OWN color swatches....I'm about to watch, watch and then WATCH these videos AGAIN! I have been using some of the products--ESPECIALLY when he collaborated with Naked by Essations! My BRAIN is on SUPER ABSORPTION MODE!!!!! ANNNNNNNNNDDDD a SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to my VERY SUPPORTIVE HUSBAND--there is SO MUCH I need to take care of....I have been working really hard to take care of, improve and handle my business!!! There are a LOT of things that need to be checked off my list--son's tuition, some other bills, and salon financial responsibilities.....BUT he KNOWS how important it is to INVEST in myself and he knows how SERIOUS I am about my growth and STEADY working, studying, LEARNING as I work to reach NEW LEVELS!!!! I ALMOST did not make my purchases, but I knew I would be MISSING OUT on my blessing! So, I spoke with My husband....and he did what he ALWAYS does...ENCOURAGED ME...SUPPORTED ME and told me to INVEST in me because he HAS MY BACK! I have been able to travel and make these educational trips with FULL SUPPORT from MY HUSBAND!!!! So I'm SAYING IT ON FB (and IG)...not to brag, NOT to get LIKES or anyone's approval.....but to EXPRESS how GRATEFUL I am...so HE KNOWS....Kib--- I APPRECIATE YOU, I LOVE YOU and EVERYTHING I DO is so that "TEAM CHAISE" continues to be what we are called to be! THANK YOU BABE! I PLAN on making you very proud of me!!!!!!😍😍😍😘😘😘 #myarsenalisSET #buildingmyinventory #reachingnewlevels #focused #gotworktodo #timetostudy #colorist #nextlevelcolor ##TeamChaise4Life #myhusbandisthebomb
