(part 3) After moving in with Devin, she made a comment about how we should have a guest book. I thought that was such a cute idea because my roommates and I are a welcoming/loving household. I had bought this Japanese storytelling style notebook a year ago and never knew what to do with it since i don’t find myself creative on paper. The notebook is one long page that flips out accordion style. It makes me feel like everybody that has come into my apartment the past couple of months is connected. The past couple months I’ve been thinking a lot about how we are all connected in one way or another. “This person knows this person who met this person at a party who walked past this person in LES who worked together with this person,,,,” I tried to make something physical with that connection and give them their space to make their page in my book❤️ I love photographing people because you can see the connection I have with the subject. Nobody else has the same connection I have with that person like I do. All i gave the people that are in this book was “do what ever, describe how our hangout went, write a letter, do art...” This is what came of it. I feel like this can be on this account because all of the pictures are film. After I post all of the scans, please dm if u have any suggestions for what i should do! Might want to turn it into a website? devin thinks i should make a zine?? Idk but if u read all of this... ❤️
