Please join us for the premiere of the documentary film Taking Your Best Shot, highlighting the impact of the New York City Housing Authority's Citywide Basketball Tournament & Skills and Drills program, and the major impact it has made on our communities.

Witness how through the Sport of Basketball, the youth and organizers of this endeavor defy the negative stereotypes of the communities that they call home.

This Film is produced by Abstrak Vision in alignment with New York City Housing Authority's Resident Participation & Civic Engagement programs.

Please arrive on time (at 2:45pm) for seating and to avoid any disruptions while the Film is in progress. The film will start promptly at 3pm.

This Screening will be followed by a Q&A with Coaches, Youth Players, NYCHA Execs and the Film Director.

Screening and Q&A runtime is from 3pm - 4:15pm

We also invite you to enjoy the Manhattanville Community Day festivities, including food vendors, resources and music that will occur throughout the day at our surrounding Manhattanville campus from 12-4pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Proud of my boy played his best game of the year in my opinion, @jdub926 played solid on both ends of the court. Didn’t lose faith after team got down 10 mid way through the 4th whole team stepped it up. Great coaching @nyabcisme @coachfrank718 @coach.naas. Those #mcclancyboyz go for it all int the freshman city championship Saturday at 3:30 Salesian high school New Rochelle. Far Rock come out and support our own @teamcrate @jdub926 @crandiz.wrld @joel_get_buckets.

SQUAAAD UP! After being down big versus Young Buccs, Team Crate crawled back to the game to force Overtime after Big O Sacko hits a big treyball! Troy Faison, Big O Sacko and company beats Young Buccs to go onto the Chip to face a scrappy New Heights (Dwan) squad.

Another Tough Game. Another Victory.

We present to you Team Crate, your NYC Prospects Top 48 Middle School Showcase Champions.

Big shoutout to Rah Slime of Zone 6 announcing the games for us!

Big shoutout to @teamcrate @sportsfr77 @e.l.d1224 @luroe1250 and the other coaches affiliated with them for “always” answering the call when it comes to the Rockaway Youth! 💯🏀 For years I’ve received all kinds of accolades and praises for everything I do (and rightfully so I deserve it 😊) but I’m only successful because I can tap in to brothers like these who simply care about our youth! They don’t get paid and most times they don’t even get a thank you from parents, but for them it doesn’t matter because their mission is all about making their community better! I called them in 11th hour “Yo I need some kids, I need some teams” @sportsfr77 reply was “I got you” They didn’t need no practice time because they work with the kids all year around. 💪🏾 All three of their teams made it to the semi finals, 2 out of 3 of them will be moving on to play in the @juniorknicks citywide championship 🏆 Congratulations! #farrockstrong #jrknicks #nycha #nypd #basketball
