Pulled a couple of cats for a road trip up north to compete in the Sincere Classic IV. Check out their recaps for details on performance (all awesome). As for this post, I just want to express gratitude for all the people I’ve been able to work with these past few years. All of them are extremely strong, positive and ambitious pioneers of the sport. I could point to any single person on my roster as a prime example of what it means to be a good athlete. They are 100% worth investing in and I feel inspired to become a better coach as they become better athletes.

Shoutout to @jcranda2 & @barbellsandcats for their organizing and leadership in this sport. Time moves extremely fast and it warms my heart to see how we’ve grown in this space. Here’s to more years.

Special shoutout to Titi Elena @e.lenam for getting us around. Your love for the team is felt deeply.

Until next time..

NYS PRIMETIME! 10th Place 🙏

All I can say… wow first time competing for DOTs and it’s such a fun experience. More technical skills and strength too that I need to take notes and I’m here for it!

Kudos to all referees for giving such a higher level meet on Primetime, gives me more time to prep for Nationals.

Huge THANK YOU for all people who supported me, very very grateful for you guys. (You know who you are) Taking this meet as my lesson to be better. Tristan, thank you for handling me and keeping up with my ass that day. 🙂‍↕️ Thank you Jacob, literally not PrimePatty Pebbles without you 🙏

Only way up from here. I’ll be back!

Another year of life. Grateful for the memories, blessings and hardships 🙏🏻♥️
Despite the challenges ahead, all I can do is keep working forward to the next step.
Continue to love. Continue to strive. Continue to struggle.
Thank the Lord for another year.

“Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for that one person.”

Staring and running my own coaching company has been scary, nerve-wracking, and challenging at times, but most of all, it’s been so much fun. Seeing the progress of my team and hearing their feedback has been incredible. Every day that I wake up, I view it as an opportunity to make an impact, whether it’s in the classroom, the court, or on the gym floor, HELPING OTHERS will always be my purpose and it cherish my relationships with both my students and clients and I take their individual growth extremely seriously and with the utmost importance.

Let’s keep going🏁

Elena Mendoza

We hit the 1 year mark in January 🥳 One of my favorite Elena strengths is Accountability. I can have honest conversations with Elena about decision-making and get a lot of valuable feedback to guide our plans. Awareness is also a highlighted personality trait I really look for when choosing who to work with, a resounding quality in Elena’s arsenal. Mix that with passion, hard work and silly goose 🪿 energy…you now have an Elena Mendoza.

I think the biggest opportunity for us is trust, not just in each other but in our intent. As blind as it seems, trusting in the intent allows us to let go of the desired outcome. It’s what I saw on meet day, when a generous yield in prep (our best one so far) wasn’t realized on the platform. We shed our tears on this one but didn’t throw in the towel. I am confident this was an extremely important learning opportunity that will echo in the months to come and I look forward to your next shot. Keep drinking water and eating your breakfast.

Thank you to my coach @_ironsovereign_ for guiding me through this winding road of self-doubt and setbacks.
