Well, that's a wrap!!! Thanks so much for being an amazing team: Ramatou, @mhstampede Quin MacDermid, Paige and Emerson Rohr! I couldn't have done it without you!

Andrew Sauers called as we were packing up to warn us that there was a bad storm coming in. The plan had been to leave everything inside the tent tonight and pick it up tomorrow. I'm SO thankful that Andrew called.

We were able to get all of my things into our two vehicles and were heading home to get the trailer to pack the bar into it. I saw Ahmed, one of my barbering boys, and he jumped in with me so that he could help Michael load it up. I had the roof down on the car and about half a block from the Stampede grounds Ahmed said to me- I think it's raining. I said that I thought it was a dust storm. IT WAS A WALL OF WATER!!!
I got the roof up almost all of the way before it hit us. We drove about another block before there was zero visibility.

Once it let up a little and we got on to Dunmore Road heading down the hill before it really picked up again. Four way flashers and high beams got us mostly safely to the funeral home where we waited again. Michael called to let us know that the road up behind Dominoes was a river so we took another route. Michael hit a curb and ran over part of a tree because he couldn't see them and he's pretty sure he popped a tire

Once we got finally got home the storm has mostly passed so Michael decided to leave the bar there because either it had taken flight or it hadn't. Spoiler alert- it had.

Today was a scary day all around. My dad had a big health scare as well. (He's ok). I'm so thankful for the wonderful new friends I made at Stampede- Amanda, and the lovely ladies in the next tent whose names I'm blanking on, and the wonderful Emma Mac for keeping me calm and getting me through the day, as well as Quin and Ramatou for being ABSOLUTE ROCKSTARS! Also, for Ahmed for being so willing to help and keeping me from panicking while driving in that!
