You blink, and one more academic year has gone! This time a very unique one. The last at Southend campus. Overwhelmed by the wonderful Worldie vibe and support. Sad for the many colleagues who won’t carry on with us in the new campus. Optimistic, looking forward to the new adventures, in Colchester, with great facilities and the whole structure of a main campus, with over ten thousand students. The East15 BA World Performance training carries on. And the Worldies are stronger than ever! 🥰

Today marks the opening of the final Revolution of East 15 at the Clifftown Theatre. My first set design of 2026.
This double bill features Pornomental, directed by @andrew__mcpherson , and More Than Skin Deep, directed by @bjtsamuels . Two wonderful and creative directors I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with on several productions.

The performances run until Saturday, performed by the talented @e15worldperformance #theatre #setdesign #photography #east15

This week we’ve learned University of Essex Southend campus will close down, East15 will be transferred to Colchester and hundreds of professionals will lose their jobs. It was also the last week of term. We get into Christmas break very sad, but with the energy and support of our amazing students, fundamental for keeping us all going, through these awful times. Thanks Worldies, you rock! 🥰
