#randomthoughts : I’m blessed beyond measure and always giving thanks whether I have abundance or nothing at all and I believe I inherited that from my Popz, @e61robine .
What sparked the thought: So, I stopped for gas earlier after hanging Art in the gallery and a lady asked me for some gas money; Not fill the tank, but specifically asked for “about $4 for gallon of gas”. I give it, say God is good and roll out. Silly, but it just reminded me of Popz telling us my grandad once told him, “Son you don’t have anything because you give it all away”. 😂 On this occasion my pockets were good, but there have been times I’ve given my last a the person never know. Whether it be money, time or physical service sacrificed, I’ve always watched him lead by example and always keep positive vibes going in abundance or none.
So I try to give flowers while my peeps are hear. When it gets to our funerals, everyone in my circle should be smiling because we always have positive memories of each other lifting each other up and continuing to build legacy of positive movements. Much Respect to OG Elder Robinson for showing us the way. We may not have much and may not have everything we want, but we’ve always been blessed abundantly with Everything we need and enough to share and spread love to others.
❤️♻️💯

Week 6 of 2026: Gathering the Strength to Climb

This week was hard. Yet, I grew. I adapted quickly. I grew up with a pastor for a father. One of the songs we would hear comes to mind often. In church, one of the elderly mothers would take her time and stand up and with or without a microphone, she would sing, “Lord! You don’t have to move my mountains. Just give me the strength to climb….” The song gives me a feeling of peace and comfort even to this day. That song translates into empowerment. That’s an acknowledgement that you are the owner of your issues, and you will have the power to overcome them. So, whether you are spiritual or not, there are those times where you need to gather your strength, stand up, and press onward and upward.

Even though we are individuals, my family often move as a unit. Navigating life’s mountains is what we do. Defying every obstacle that we have faced over the last few decades has not been easy. There is strength in our support of each other and courage in our eyes. I’ve found there is a fearlessness that comes with having so many brothers and sisters and a father who only asks, “how can I help?” I’m as excited as ever for the path ahead. It’s dad’s birthday today!! Last year my students celebrated him with me and that was pretty cool. Challenging my peeps to teach the kids about those in your community who have always been leaders and role models instead of having them continue looking up to rappers, ball players and entertainers who have never been in your community. These are our Real hero’s. Help us celebrate @e61robine today (cashapp-$ejr1953). He’s a Tried and True REAL ATL “OG” and hero for Every community he’s been a part of.

2021Week6: We ended this week shooting our best episode yet for the @rootedinloveshow with the man, the myth.... Popz aka @e61robine 😄. We had so many laughs, so many memories, so many lessons and barely touched the surface of his life and positive impact on all of us. We never had to look up to pro athletes, entertainers or fictional heroes. We’ve always been able to just watch his journey and brag about our dad being the coolest dad around. It was pretty cool to talk about his impact on us and the community around us and now watch his positive movements go around the world through social media. We want everyone to know that the “Rooted in Love” movement definitely didn’t start with us, it started with our parents and we are proud to carry the torch and hopefully make Popz and Momz proud. #8robinson #rootedinlove #bolofresche #family #mentor #legacy #familylegacy #inspire #inspiring #inspireothers #robinsontivities #themrobinsonboys #love #loveislove #valentinesday #valentinesday2021

Filming dad, Pastor Elder Emmitt Robinson , live now has me reflecting on conversations with our school’s Young Men’s Leadership Grroup earlier today. Asking the boys “What is your purpose?”. Popz has never let anyone stop him from fulfilling his purpose. Pastoring, ministering, mentoring and serving in Every community we’ve been in and now worldwide. It’s just the Robinson way. And now I push to fulfill my purpose too. Not in the same path as his, but pretty close as I Walk in Love aiming to Spread Love everywhere I go. #bolofresche #8robinsons #rootedinlove #untamedcreativebeings #truechurchofgodinchrist #inspiringothers #inspiring #inspiration #positiveblackimages #positiveblackmen #positiveblacknews #blackkings #familygoals #familysession
