Retired, Rockin' Papa

$🚌 🎵🪩🎒🦋🍄 We recently jettisoned over to Chicago to perform at the WINDY POP WEEKENDER and it was revitalizing to be reminded just how much can happen in 52 hours {so much so that @mgglnt’s band zine neurons are already firing and the caption associated with this first image is one of those wildly bizarre tour stories we hope you’ll let us ramble on about when we see you next}! A tremendous honor to be included in the @windypopweekender and grateful to the many beautiful humans who helped to make it all possible while supporting independent music in an authentic and community-minded way. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ This band for everything, on and off stage: @micksticism + @kabarbara + @mgglnt + @finn_bhoy + @4_5_and_7 @rhymeswithtwee + @lefttheprairie for handling every detail of the @windypopweekender with intention, clarity, grace and consistent communication @_maudamanda For the most rad & generous hospitality at Airbntwee, the shimmery WPW decor, the fashion goals and the best breakfast recommendation @colesbar in Logan Square for the classic Chicago bar vibes I have missed Jacob at Cole’s for the backline, fantastic sound and patiently sound checking so many bands @modern_cults + @gentlebrontosaurus + @fredthomas for the equipment loans and offers This indie pop community for raising $2,696 to support the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights @icirr_il Chicago being model citizens and caring so much about your neighbors during an unconscionable crisis All the bands for inspiring us: @mongtongband + @modern_cults + @gentlebrontosaurus + @thefeedersband + @tambourinaofficial + @idlerayband Friends old & new who listened and visited with us and bought our albums & T-shirts @teekep_listening for taking the most lush band photos (see 10) @popupkaraoke + @chirpradio + @clean.air.club for supporting this sweet festival Chicago: we love you; please invite us back again soon!$
