Coming back to dance has made me less scared to step outside me comfort zone. It has reminded me that is better to do the things you want, than to give up before even trying and having to live with the what ifs.

Small milestones feel like huge victories and before you know it, you’re giving your best shot at things that used to intimidate you.

Here is me on my 4th ever contemporary class, feeling extremely accomplished to have twirled (chained?). isn’t that such an amazingly silly and true sentence hahahaha ✨happy smiles✨

locking in this year to work on my turns and my balance 🎠

Since everyone is into retro now, 2016 — I’ll remember mine too.

In 2016, I was living in the Bronx.
And you know, I was mostly happy.

I lived in the Bronx, I had my own apartment, and I didn’t depend on my ex.
I spent a lot of time with my child, and at the same time I started getting into photography and shooting things.

I went to Adorama to Daniel Norton’s flash photography classes.
And at that moment, I really believed in myself, in life, in people.

The fact that I didn’t have money didn’t bother me at all,
because my life was filled with communication and a lot of people.
And I truly believed that everything would be fine.

In the middle of 2016, I moved to Brooklyn and started living in Canarsie.
And I really liked it there, especially after living in the Bronx.
Back then, Canarsie felt almost like the Canary Islands to me.

I continued working on photography, getting better,
doing some small jobs,
and mostly spending time with my child.

But ten years ago, I was 33 years old.
I truly believed that people were good
and that good would win.

And now, you know,
I don’t have that belief anymore.

So yes, that was my 2016.
I’m 33 and my child is 3 years old.
In the photo, I am happy.

2025 I love you. ❤️

This year brought me:
✨Infinite laughs
✨Unlimited doggie cuddles
✨117 Reels created
✨54 hours of wrestling attended
✨46 books read
✨36 lbs lost
✨30 photoshoots
✨27 massages
✨15 trips in 5 states and one other country
✨14 friend hangouts
✨1 tattoo

I got to go to so many beautiful places, spend lots of time with friends old and new, dance, laugh, eat and create memories I’ll never forget.

I also got lots of chances to set boundaries and ask for my worth and I’m so proud of how I handled those situations. 👊 Old me would be shook.

This is the year I learned to be truly grateful for everything I have and wouldn’t ya know it, I got even more to be grateful for in return. Gratitude really is the secret sauce. 🎉

2026 is going to be amazing, I can feel it! Remember, you have everything you need inside to create the life of your dreams. I am living proof.

Thank you for being part of my life. I love ya! Happy New Year BADDIES!! 🥂

Happy World Ballet Day! 🌎🩰
*
Character work has always been a favourite… and I was so happy to be a part of Ekat’s Russian Mazurka piece last month. 🥰 My first time performing Character outside of a ballet exam! 😂
