"Try Your Best" is out now.

Thank you @carteruby for putting the finishing touches on these songs in the mastering process. And thank you @carteruby and @zombiedrummer99 for not only being there for me throughout all my years of making music, but also pushing me, supporting me, and believing in this mini project.

I'm so thankful for everyone who has supported me on this journey:

Kensington
Tattoo Tour
Your Letter

are out now for the world to hear, and they will be the last for now.

Pasé por la cancha y todo me regresó. Los partidos, las risas, las caídas. Aquí crecimos muchos de nosotros y aunque ya no venimos tanto, este lugar sigue guardando esa parte de nuestra infancia.

Today marks the release of my band, Miss Mary Rose’s, second album, I wanted to talk about it a little…
-
Backstory:
This album paints a picture of the very remote and very real small town of Hillsgrove, Pennsylvania. The first album we released was MMR Radio back in 2024, when we were discussing recording plans for MMR Radio the frontman of our band, Isaac, suggested his families cabin in Hillsgrove PA. We committed, and fell in love with the town, and recorded our whole album in a cabin we soundproofed ourself. Months after it’s release, Isaac’s grandpa, Peepaw Ray, says to Isaac “Y’know that German fella, Fin, that piano he brought, that was the first set of keys in that there cabin since your great great great grandfather Albert von Klinger.” That fact got the cogs rolling. Twin Echo Valley is the name Klinger dubbed the land because if you stood in the valley and shouted, you’d hear an echo in one ear, and a delayed echo in the other. From there we explored the mythos of the town and the people there and wrote an album about it.
-
Process:
The project began with us returning to Hillsgrove in the summer of 2025, to a stage Isaac, our producer Mike, and I built connected to a camper. We recorded the project as a live album and we performed it as such, all the transitions and audience participation. Many of our close friends managed to make the trip, it was a marvelous few days in the valley. We had a Film team capturing footage for a later project. We ran all our live instruments DI into the camper. The issue arose when we listened back, we had more ideas. More song ideas, more part ideas, this album tells stories of ghosts and we wanted those ghosts to sound like ghosts, we wanted the trippy interludes to feel trippy. We brought it to Torchlight Productions Recording Studio in January of this year, added a couple more tracks, concluded any final recording around May, and brought you what you hear today.
