This is Recovery Outside. 🌲🧡

It’s climbing and volleyball, campouts and paddleboards, hikes and adventures—but more than anything, it’s people finding connection, community, and a whole lot of fun in recovery.

We’re so excited to finally share this video created by the incredible team at @storychefmedia , who helped capture what Recovery Outside is all about through the voices of the people who actually make this community what it is.

And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines wondering what Recovery Outside is all about—come join us. There’s a spot for you here. 🧗‍♀️🏕️🏄‍♀️🏐

Another weekend, another adventure. 🌿☀️

This weekend we explored Inks Lake State Park, where we paddle boarded, swam, and joined a guided birdwatching hike led by one of our incredible volunteer Master Naturalists. Then we headed to Wimberley to celebrate our amazing ambassador, Grant, before his move to Colorado. ❤️ We hiked Old Baldy, cooled off at Cypress Falls Swimming Hole, and soaked up one more adventure together.

Weekends like these are what Recovery Outside is all about—getting outside, trying new things, and building real community along the way.

We’ll miss you, Grant. Colorado is lucky to have you! 🏔️

🛟☀️ Sober Tubin’ on the river = an absolute blast.

Good weather, cold water, plenty of laughs, and a great crew to share it with. We spent the day floating, hanging out, and enjoying one of the best summer traditions Texas has to offer.

Thanks to everyone who came out—we’ll definitely be doing this again. 🤙

One year ago, Recovery Outside was just an idea. This weekend, we got to celebrate what it has become: a community. 💛

We spent the morning playing volleyball, tossing frisbees, battling with water guns, enjoying yard games, eating great food, and most importantly, connecting with one another. Looking around at all the laughter, friendships, and support reminded us exactly why we started this organization in the first place.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or just recently found your way here, you are part of what makes this community so special.

Special thanks to @modpizza for helping feed our crew, and to @glimmeraustin for their continued support of our mission. We truly couldn’t do this without partners who believe in the power of connection, community, and recovery.

Here’s to one incredible year—and to many more adventures ahead. 🔥
