VERDANT
An ode to the woman who finds strength in softness and confidence in stillness ❤️😌. Surrounded by nature 🌿🌻, she reminds us that the most captivating presence is one that remains true to itself 🤍🌱.

Every image is a reflection of grace, purpose, and the quiet beauty of becoming 🦋.
She is not waiting to bloom, she already has 🌸.
Because true beauty isn't loud... it lingers 🤍✨.

He was seated when you were dragged in like a commoner. Your hands moved clumsily as they struggled to cover your body, protecting the little dignity left, but their hands – those hands that accused others constantly – roughly shoved yours away.

When you were placed before him, you barely noticed the crowd. Your heart was fixed on him, and shame filled you to the uttermost. You felt unworthy, and your heartbeat increased as the fear of death seized you. You were so sure your end was close.

"Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of adultery." They spoke as soon as the opportunity was granted, their words void of mercy, and you faced the ground, your body shaking with silent sobs. "The law of Moses commands us to stone her." They continued, and you felt the warm embrace of death. "What do you say?" They asked, finally, and your heart dared to hope that he would be merciful.

When he remained silent for what felt like eternity, you stole a glance at him, and you watched in awe as his fingers scribbled on the floor.

"Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." He finally spoke, and his voice rustled through the room like dry leaves. You saw a few sandals shift uneasily while he bent and continued writing on the ground.

Soon, their feet slipped away until you were left alone with him. When he lifted his eyes and rested them on yours, you felt naked before him. It was as though he saw everything. "Where are your accusers? Didn't they condemn you?" He asked, his voice gentle, and you found yours. "No, man, Lord."

"Neither do I. Go and sin no more." He said, and you thought it was just your vision when the corner of his lips stretched into a small smile. But when he revealed his teeth, your heart worshipped him. You had found your Lord. And lover.
