feeling cute, might delete(definitely deleting)

Shouts out to the day 1 homie @jpegbins for the photo, a rare genuine smile caught on camera..

Tonight went a lot better than I anticipated and I owe every act, the venue, the staff and most importantly the audience for coming through and supporting these local magnificent acts who have left a profound mark of my life.

This event will be the start of a running series of events I'd like to take to a variety of venues in future - there has been a major shift in the local scene and I truly believe it will only lead to good. So if any venues read this hmu..

I need to take a break to write, reflect and deal with the things most necessary - keep your eyes posted for an upcoming rap night and future Emotional Response events - let's keep getting emotional gvng

Well, what can we say?? An incredible night of live music at The Maritime Inn for the grand final of Battle of the Bands. Before we get to the bit you all want to know - this year's winner - thanks to everyone involved in making tonight happen! Thanks to @plymouthwaterfrontbid for allowing the winning band to headline the Christmas lights switch on. Thanks to Andy at The Maritime Inn for hosting, providing the cash prize, and the paid gig for the winners. Thanks to ALL of our judges tonight, including Luke from @3daysofwonder , last year's winners, Simon & Andy from @plymouthontap , Gordon Barrie, and Kim from PWP - you had an incredibly hard job. We'll be cleaning up the blood spatter for months.

And of course, thanks to @theotherwoman.band , @eachother_uk and @hmtband for playing out of their boots tonight! There would have been no wrong winner.

There can be only one...

And tonight, the phenomenal HOT MESS THEORY lifted the crown!

Congratulations, and we can't wait to see you play at the Christmas Lights Switch On, and at the Maritime afterwards!!

Here's a clip from the winning set - apologies for the sound, but I couldn't get further back into the pub, and was more or less hugging a speaker!

@camsell_22 is the legend thats been running the music at Marina Bar for years and without him this band would literally not even exist AND theres a bunch of other bands who first played together at the Wednesday Jam who can say the same. Cannot wait for more jamming to come at the Nowhere and see how many other people this beautiful man can bring together. We love you Cam xxx

I guess it'd only be right to show a wee reel of myself too! I'll be headlining the gig on the 29th - THIS SATURDAY CAN'T BELIEVE HOW QUICK WE GOT HERE! - Ticket link in bio if you're fancying it or tickets available on the door, so please come through!

I've gathered a variety of performances of mine over the past couple years to show my progression and versatility in sound - I plan on performing two never performed before tracks one of which you won't get to here again until I 💀 the other you may never hear again 🙉

Music for me is much more than performances, compliments and ticket sales - it's a running monologue, a journal of sorts I'm able to best live my life by.

I recommend everything find 1 - a creative outlet. 2 - a way of reflecting, for me I found this through music and song writing since I was little and I will always have deep cuts just for my benefit, which I'm pleased to share a couple with you this Saturday!

It's been a long road getting to the point of being asked to headline a ticketed event so if you rock with D and are able to show all the acts some love please grab a ticket if you want to support but unable to afford just dm me - I'm here and will remain here for the culture, if you know me already that goes without saying..

Shouts out to all the spaces, energy and people who kept me going and have allowed for this to happen, without those positive affirmations I'd be nothing, fr.. x

Better late..

So finally got some posters out, not necessarily to just promote, but to remind me of the process. From inception I'm very proud I've had a great influence on every aspect of this project and lucky enough to have such valuable connections to help achieve this milestone - that's all the acts, venues, creatives and individuals who have played a part in this project or inspiring this project. It means more than you know ❤

Time to shout out some local venues for what they've given me!:
@barrelhousetotnes - first ever open mic booking(things went wrong on the night and I had to dip but I will return!) - such a magnificent venue full of vibrance and love

@leadworksplymouth - my first ever open mic and such a pillar of my community, I have been so supported by this space through the years and would recommend to literally anyone

@theciderpressplymouth - done a fair few early open mic sets here - I may not have been the act but Sam who runs it was unbelievably supportive of me!

@_cafe_momus_ - like an actual family unit to me at multiple times throughout the years, had countless memorable nights here and one of the most supportive crowds in the open mic space

@marinabar_plymouth - one of them ifykyk type of ones - get yourselves down on a Wednesday or Thursdsy to go watch the local talent cutting their teeth - all genres welcomed and a community second to none

@bar.rakuda - an institute of the Plymouth night life scene - run very welcoming open mics every Tuesday, I was welcomed into this space from a good friend and still get surprised at how well received my nonsense is everytime!

@theatreroyalplymouth - I'd be remiss to not mention my second ever performance I was lucky enough to be invited to the Theatre Royal's Drum theatre to collaborate on a project around climate change and awareness which is near and dear to my heart.. this performance is the biggest I've had to date with around 100-150 people in attendance and having 2 and a half days from creation to performance of my piece - it was crazy, sporadic and genuinely one of the best experiences making connections I will never forget, shouts out @hazel_hon_escaped_artist & @2ane_dj - luvvv

What a night! 🎸

Leonian Dream lit up the stage at Bridport Arts Centre, joined by Lota and EachOther for an evening of incredible live music. Each band brought something different, and together they made for one seriously good lineup.

Leonian Dream are returning to Bridport Arts Centre, joined by COSM and RatTrap, on Sat 26 Sep 7:45pm.

Act #1 - Co-headlining will be the enamouring @eachother_uk - a truly unique act which spans a large range of sounds which has something for everyone whilst remaining distinct to itself. They type of act you hear from outside the venue and go "is that Each Other?"

Since forming the band these have continued to develop their sound into something well worth experiencing as you can see from these recent clips from their performance @barrelhousetotnes - I personally try to catch them as frequently as I can as a fan and feel genuinely lucky they were keen to work together on this project.

If you know Each Other already - Come out so we can Get Along! For those new to the group, come out to experience Each Other(great name aye?)
