What a valuable meeting with a topic that is unusual but so important for the EAED:
CMD and functional aspects in dentistry.

When I gave my inaugural lecture in Versailles in 2011 with a focus on „Function in Dentistry“ I was politely accepted as an active member of the EAED - a milestone in my professional career.
When I presented my functional concept to the EAED in Florence in 2015, there was again polite applause, with the note: „Function is a problem of the Germans“.
Being able to experience the topic as a focus in 2026 is a confirmation of the consistent conviction that qualitative and sustainable dentistry can only be successfully implemented if it is based on a structural functional concept.
