I chose to join an open architecture advisory firm because I enjoy the planning process.

Researching, comparing, evaluating different solutions, and thinking through what may best meet a client’s needs.

Does it require more work behind the scenes? Absolutely, but that’s a process I genuinely enjoy.

A Trust is not just about money.

For caregivers, its about ensuring a loved one continue to receive care and financial support when you are no longer around.

The Special Needs Trust Company (SNTC) is one option families can explore as part of their long-term care and estate planning journey.

A recent client reminded me of an important planning reality:

Not every financial plan ends when a child starts working.

For some families, protection and care planning may need to last a lifetime.

“Nothing has changed, so i dont need a review”, that’s what most people think. But life changes happen gradually.

So, when was the last time you review your financial portfolio?

A lot of people think they are fully covered until they actually review their portfolio.

Here’s my reflection for the week.

Many families have a care plan for dementia.

Few have financial plan to support it.

My journey from a social worker to a financial consultant has shown me that both are equally important.

Hopping onto the trend. 😂

August was indeed a satisfying month not because of the production, but because I focused on making sure everyone I met understood what financial planning is really about.

Many years ago, I used to focus on pitching sales during the first meeting. But over time, I’ve realised that isn’t sustainable. Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients is.

Stay consistent. Keep showing up. Keep adding value. That’s the key. Most importantly, thank you to all my clients for your continued trust and referrals. Truly grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you in your financial journey!

Congrats to myself and my wife for constantly reminding me to pause, reflect and keep improving. ❤️

Here’s my sharing for this week!

If you’re a parent or expecting a baby, have you thought about how you’d protect your child, and your family too? 👶🏻

Here’s how my wife & I planned the protection for our twins, and ended up protecting ourselves too.

Watch to find out what they are :)

Just wrapped up another interview with my co-founder and leader, Aphrime. 🎥

Every leader has a story, the challenges, the sacrifices, the breakthroughs and the moments that shaped who they are today.

Can’t wait to share his journey and the lessons behind it. I’m sure there’s a lot we can all learn from his story. 🔥

Stay tuned. This one is special. 🙌

Tbh I’m not naturally very good at talking in front of the camera, but I know that if I want to lead by example, I have to step out of my comfort zone.

Social media is already the new era. If I don’t start now, when will I? 🎥

So what is this about?
Over the years, I’ve seen many of my consultants give their best in this career, working really hard, pushing themselves, and striving to build a better future for their families.

I want to document these stories.

So, I’ve decided to start a series where I’ll be interviewing some of our consultants and sharing their journeys, the challenges, the sacrifices, the breakthroughs, and most importantly, the why behind what they do.

Everyone has a story worth telling.

Stay tuned. 🚀
