The degree and becoming a licensed RN was earned in May. The commencement ceremony just finally caught up!
.
Proud to say I graduated with a Cum Laude with a 3.6 GPA. One of the hardest things I’ve done going to school while raising a family, working full time, and balancing life. All the sleepless nights, tears, caffeine, and staying back to study was all worth it!

My amazing cohort, the mighty 12. We started with 37 students. We all held on and endured to the end together!

Courtney 💕 was one of my Labor and Delivery nurses. She showed me a light and love that I wanted all women to be able to experience. She was one of my whys I went back to school and gained a love to L&D. During my capstone Courtney was my preceptor who continued to reiterate to me where I was meant to be. My love for L&D grew so much as I was able to mentor with her. Being able to have her pin me a nurse tonight felt like a full circle moment for me. I’m forever grateful she was one of my nurses who made the biggest difference in my life!

How much my girls have grown through this crazy journey. I started school when Paisley was 5 months old and Maysie was 2. I pray they’ll look back and see they can catch their dreams at any point in their lives and it will ALWAYS be well worth it!

16 year old me is screaming and so proud of this moment.

My parents were the first to know I was going to nursing school. (Truly thought I had written nursing school off at this point in my life.) Blurted out, “I’m going to nursing school.” “You are?!” “I this so.”

Grateful for them being there to help with the kids and being a listening ear for many of times calling to tell them I wanted to give up and didn’t know if it was worth it.

These girls became my ride or die!

Having my sister cheer me on every step of the way was the best thing I could have ever asked for. It was her delivery with Jack where the spark was re-lit and now avoiding the impression of me needing to go to school.

Grateful for my grandparents who came from Oregon to be apart of my special day.

My in laws also cannot go unnoticed. Especially my mother in law for always being will
