IT'S ALMOST TIME! My article in Good Grit Magazine hits mailboxes and magazine racks on November 1.

What happens when a good ole Texas boy meets a traditional Korean girl at an IHOP in Central Texas?

Magic. That's what happens.

This feature is about one of my all time fave restaurants, and the couple who owns it.

Spoiler alert- they are just as incredible as the menu!

Subscribe to the mag, or grab a copy in stores, I cant wait to hear what you think!

Come hungry to Fredericksburg, Texas! 🍑🤠

I spent three days eating my way through Texas Hill Country, and these are some of the food stops I’d recommend adding to your itinerary!

🥐 Sunday Supply @sundaysupplytx – Enormous peach scones and coffee.

☕ The Pharmacy at Keidel @pharmacyfbgtx – Chicken salad croissants and a charming historic setting.

🔥 Eaker Barbecue @EakerBarbecue – Texas BBQ with Korean-inspired flavors.

🍦 Clear River Ice Cream, Bakery & Deli @ClearRiverIceCreamandFun – Sandwiches, baked treats, and homemade ice cream.

🥩 Mesquite at the Warehouse @mesquite_fbg – Brisket queso and Southern comfort food.

🍗 Hill & Vine @HillandVineTX – Chicken schnitzel and Texas Hill Country dining.

🍑 Fischer & Wieser @FischerandWieser – Delicious sauces, preserves, and local Texas Hill Country flavors.

And don’t forget to save room for all things peach! 🍑

Drop me a comment or DM and I will send you my full 3-day Fredericksburg itinerary with restaurants, wineries, shopping, and where to stay on SipBiteGo.com!

Thanks to @VisitFredTX @LoveFBGTX and @GeigerPR for hosting this foodie adventure!

Hilfe!

🔥 LAST CALL FOR SIP & SMOKE! 🔥

Our second annual Sip & Smoke is just around the corner, and this is one you’re not going to want to miss.

Join us Sunday, October 18 from 12–3 PM at Ab Astris Winery for an afternoon of Texas BBQ, Texas wine, live music and plenty of reasons to raise a glass.

We’re bringing together EIGHT incredible BBQ creations, each paired with wine from Ab Astris and our friends at Lost Draw, Ron Yates and Adega Vinho:

🔥 Eaker BBQ
🔥 The Local Bull
🔥 Steve Gram, Food Network Star
🔥 Hill and Vine
🔥 El Quincho
🔥 Trosko Culinary
🔥 Smokepoint Catering
🔥 Junebugs BBQ

And because good food and wine deserve a soundtrack, we’ll have live music from the Keelan Donovan Trio all afternoon.

Plus, it just happens to be our winemaker’s birthday… so expect a few celebratory surprises. 🥂🎂

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now:
Wine Club Members: $45

Pumpkin patch weekends, Oktoberfest steins, Día de los Muertos marigolds and a burger worth the drive to Comfort. October around here is a whole mood, and I didn’t want you to miss a thing 🍁

So I made you a guide. As a mom, wife, Realtor and local, these are the spots I love, the ones we keep going back to and the ones I’m finally checking off this year, from San Antonio to the Hill Country. Patches the kids will love, date nights you’ll actually book, specials worth knowing and a few new spots I can’t wait to try.

Save this so it’s ready the next time someone asks “what are we doing this weekend?” 📌 And send it to the friend who always says “we should do something fun this fall.” Now you’ve got a plan.

Which one’s first on your list? 👇

Live, laugh, cheat on your husband in a vineyard

Is not the motto of @eakerbarbecue so please keep your marriage in tact and go visit them

Between the Korean flavors and smoked meats you guys will be in a good mood for couples therapy

Brisket heals all, trust me
