We spent two days in Denver getting properly enlightened! 💡 Huge thank you to the team at Cooper Lighting Solutions for the incredible hospitality and for showing us the future of lighting. An even bigger shoutout to our amazing clients who came along for the ride: Wold, Hunt Electric, ATSR, and EAPC. We learned a ton, laughed a lot, and definitely came back a little brighter. 🏔️⚡ #CooperLighting #DenverTrip #lightingdesign #enlightenyourself #lovewhatyoudo

WE BEGIN WITH THE LAND SFI 2026 will gather on the traditional homelands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other Indigenous nations who have long made their homes along the Columbia River. We’re grateful to be guests on the land, and that gratitude continues into every conversation this October. Join the conversation! Registration link in bio #SFI2026 #landacknowledgment #Portland #PNWdesign WHY WE BEGIN HERE Hosting a conference about equity in the built environment requires us to begin here: with the land, with the people who have always cared for it, and with the ongoing work of relationship and repair. As the organizers of SFI, we acknowledge the great knowledge of Indigenous people around the world: rich traditions passed through generations, and new knowledge being created today. We hold this conversation in respect, understanding that this knowledge belongs to its originators.
