We never thought we would actually get people
to say ‘Los Duschos’ 😆

As silly as a track name can be, it can also be very telling at the same time🚿:
The track was made during a morning after Lai Raw & Kalla had been producing all night and they both
took turns in the shower and in the studio.

Inspired by dusty jazz records and the New London Jazz scene, Lai Raw stardet chopping up and recombining some drum breaks. Then it was his turn to go have a shower and for kalla to hear what had been cooked up in the studio while he was away 🧼
Instantly hooked by the infectious groove, kalla laid down the keys and the wonky bassline.
Apart from the outro and some minor editing the track was pretty much finished that day and therefore also kept the original session file name.

Los Duschos EP OUT NOW on @ear_sight records 🫶

#KALLAIRAW is in full release mode by now! Our first EP out of 3 just dropped via @ear_sight records ✨
Perfect end of summer vibes 🌴💚

Thanks to @digitalluc for the mastering, @cliv.cultus for the pics and @kalla.vst for the cover art 🙏

About the track⤵️

Second single and EP namegiving track ‘Gettingintoit’ is a
testimony of love to the genre this pair originally connected over: UK Garage & House.

Centered around a beautiful filtered piano loop created by Kalla
and smooth but driving drums from Lai Raw, it was the vocal sample that gave the track its defining depth and meaning.
kalla and Lai Raw felt like Chicago House Legend ‘Boo Williams’
perfectly put into words how they too feel about their creative identities. Pure intentions when it comes to music is what ultimately will lead to timeless pieces and a constant sense of beautiful nostalgia ✨
