POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Since the late ’90s, Luke Eargoggle has been one of the defining voices of European electro, building a world around machines, raw electronics and a deeply personal approach to sound. From Gothenburg, he founded Stilleben Records in 1998, creating an independent platform that became central to the city’s distinctive electro lineage and its long-running connection with the wider underground.

Across more than two decades, his music has remained unmistakably his own: mechanical yet warm, playful yet dark, moving between electro, machine-funk and synthetic futurism without ever losing its human pulse. Stilleben continues to operate from Gothenburg today, carrying forward the same independent attitude that defined its beginnings.

Across altered distances, latent spaces come back into view.

Built around tension and proximity, Luke Eargoggle — a late-’90s electro veteran, founder of Stilleben Records and one of the key figures behind Gothenburg’s enduring machine-funk tradition — enters into a temporary and tangible relation between space and people.

Different machines. Different techniques. Different genres. Different places.

One same need: instinctive and necessary — the need to externalize what we carry within us, transforming it into sound, into music, into expressive sonic art.

As technology advances, human interaction becomes increasingly valuable. Because no technology or tool can ever replace the need to search, experiment, make mistakes, discover, and find our own way of expressing ourselves.

For more music. For more art.
For more interaction, dynamics, movement, dance.
For more experimentation.
For more mistakes. For more expression.
For more searching.

Distintas máquinas. Distintas técnicas. Distintos géneros. Distintos lugares.
