Join me this Sunday at @filamfiesta_vc at the @museumofventuracounty hosted by @pinaysphere_org . I’ll be doing a skill share on mini Walis ( broom) using locally foraged and cleaned pine needles . This is a simple and short intro workshop on the art of broom making. We will have time to adorn and customize our brooms to make them unique with recycled beads and charms. We will also be popping up with our @nativesol creations and we will have a few handmade brooms in different sizes if you@just want to purchase.

Look out for an upcoming broom making class in Long Beach and pine needle basket weaving.(DM me if interested) and will add you to our list).

This dance right here is the celebration dance of my recent baptism into the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Christian Church. 🎉🥳🎊. First off I want to thank EgzhiaBiher ( God ) for bringing me back home 🙏🏾. Secondly I want to thank Kesis Gebre Meskel and a couple of Church Wendims ( brothers ) for all their support in this last six months! It means a lot! I'll save more words for my following post showing all the pictures from my baptism. I'm soo grateful to be accepted into the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church 😭🤎🤎🤎🥳🥳. My Christian name "Wolde Yohannes" symbolizes rebirth and identity in Christ. It means Son of John the Baptist.

Psalms 150:4 is my verse y'all 👇🏾👇🏾

Praise him with the tambourine and DANCING; praise him with strings and flutes!
