Almost gave up on this one. Lightning isn’t always the easiest capture. Plus this was right before the annual beach walk, so had to fight the crowd. But sometimes with a little patience, you get rewarded ⚡️🌊

📍Chincoteague Island, Virginia

#Chincoteague #StormPhotography #LandscapePhotography #LightningPhotography #VirginiaPhotography A dramatic thunderstorm over the Atlantic Ocean at Chincoteague Island, Virginia. Dark layered storm clouds stretch across the horizon as a single lightning bolt strikes in the distance. Gentle waves roll onto the sandy beach beneath the storm, creating a moody coastal scene.

Veiðivötn, in Iceland’s central highlands. Around 50 crater lakes are scattered across this black sand desert, all formed in a single explosive fissure eruption in 1477, part of the Bárðarbunga volcanic system. Over the centuries rain and meltwater filled the craters into maars. The red patch on the wall is oxidised, iron-rich volcanic spatter. Swipe to move in closer and read the scale from the air

Iceland 🇮🇸 Highlands resembling middle earth. Breathtakingly beautiful mountains the green blue colour is due to the copper and the rhyolite is as a result of eruptions that have a high concentration of silica. The contrasting colours create a magnificent array of colours. Together with @kevinoages_ and @jackie_nagtegaal

“Finding peace in the heart of Switzerland 🇨🇭 There’s nothing quite like the feeling of standing at the edge of nature’s masterpiece. The sound of the water rushing beneath, the crisp mountain air, and the breathtaking view of snow-capped peaks—this moment was truly grounding. Being here reminds me how important it is to pause and appreciate the beauty around us.

As I stood here, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much nature has a way of resetting our minds and recharging our spirits. The autumn colors were in full bloom, and this little turquoise gem of a lake was the perfect contrast against the rugged mountains. I felt both small and powerful all at once. There’s something about these Swiss landscapes that just makes you want to explore more, doesn’t it?

What’s your go-to place to unwind and feel connected to nature? Drop a comment below—let’s inspire each other to get out and explore more of the world around us! And if you haven’t yet, follow along for more epic adventures and hidden gems! 🌲⛰️✨”

Poisoned Love….When you’ve spent your life living and loving someone that uses manipulation and charisma to control your relationship, you find yourself getting an education you never wanted. You leave broken but thinking you can breathe again, it didn’t completely free you of the her exploitational tactics though. She didn’t break me but she did change me for anyone after her…..
