Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the community of San Angelo and everyone who came out to celebrate (and help set up 💜🥹) Whitson Bookkeeping’s 1st birthday!! It means so much that so many of you took the time to party with us and celebrate a great first year! We’re looking forward to many more! Big thank you to our clients who trust us and make working so enjoyable! 💜💜 THANK YOU 💜💜 to @allaboutsignstx for the amazing Whitson Bookkeeping sign!! 🤩 I’ll never get over how cool it is!! Big shoutout to Lakehouse Pizzeria & Taproom for the incredible party room & even better service on the day of our event. 💜 (If you’ve been to the Lakehouse and love it, go leave a 5-star review! 💫) Another big shoutout to @southconchofoodco for the best allergen-free cookies & cupcakes!! Completely gluten free kitchen in San Angelo with several dairy free options and the BEST owner who will customize food for any allergy or intolerance. 💗 (leave them a 5-star review too if you know how awesome Chelsea and her team are!!) Last but not least, thank you to Wild & Aligned Co. for an incredible year of support for my small business, social media management, event planning, photographs, and moral support throughout it all! We truly couldn’t have put on this event without you!! If you’ve been wanting to start a small business, DO IT! & remember to call me when you need help with your books 😉💜

Today reminded us why San Angelo is so special. Whitson Bookkeeping is made up of a small 3-person team — and two of us walk through life managing severe autoimmune and inflammatory illnesses. With long lists of food intolerances, the daily task of simply finding something safe to eat can feel overwhelming… and today was one of those days. We walked into South Concho Food Co. carrying nothing but our dietary restriction lists and a whole lot of stress. Even with a full lobby and a hundred things she could’ve been doing, the owner didn’t hesitate for a single second. She pulled us aside. She listened. She cared. And she created a plan. Within two hours, she had lovingly prepared 14 meals — each one meeting every restriction, every concern, every “I’m sorry, this is complicated but I can’t eat that.” We walked out with plenty of safe food… but more importantly, we walked out with peace of mind, comfort, and hearts that felt genuinely seen. She gave us more than meals. She gave us relief. She gave us a moment to breathe. And she gave us a hug that felt like pure community. To Chelsea Click, the owner of South Concho Food Co: Thank you for going above and beyond. Thank you for loving people through your work. Thank you for making this little bookkeeping team feel cared for, supported, and safe. We appreciate you more than you know — and San Angelo is so lucky to have you. 💜 #southconchofoodco #sanangelotx #supportsmallbusiness #grateful #autoimmune #foodintolerance Two smiling women sitting indoors wearing matching purple “Whitson Bookkeeping” crewneck sweatshirts with the white “WB” logo. Both have glasses and are seated in a cozy living room. A coffee table with remote controls, a plate, and art supplies sits in front of them. Behind them is home décor including a colorful rooster statue and a wall sign that reads, “Gather here with grateful hearts.” The atmosphere feels warm, friendly, and casual.

This year I’m extra grateful for the people who make every part of my life fuller. For Easter — the one behind my socials and the friend who keeps this dream moving. For Christian — for making the long drive so we could all be together. For my sister, Jordyn — for giving me my sweet nieces and nephews and for being my constant, even with everything she carries. Her strength is one of the biggest reasons this business exists. For my mom — who drops everything the second I need support. And for my brother, Gavin — who never fails to bring joy and bounce ideas with me when I need it most. And I’m so grateful for my clients and everyone who follows along with Whitson Bookkeeping. Your support, trust, and engagement mean more than you know. My heart is so full this Thanksgiving. 💜 What’s one thing you’re grateful for this week? #happythanksgiving A group of five people standing outdoors beneath large oak trees, smiling together for a photo.
